I was talking to a seasoned multiple-tour vet of Afghanistan and Iraq, the first big engagements we’ve fought in this Picatinny rail age. He said you can always spot the newbies because they have a bunch of stuff stuck to their rails. After a while they realize how heavy and cumbersome it gets, and pieces start dropping off one by one.
