Good evening, Mr. President, esteemed members for the proposition, and ladies and gentlemen. I am truly honored to be here tonight for this first Silicon Valley Oxford Union debate. I am particularly honored to be here speaking for entrepreneurs – because for me, this debate is not just an intellectual exercise, but moral choice. And it is not a debate about who participates, but who leads.

Great post! If it weren’t so late for me I’d post a kiloword or two about this topic. For now I’ll just point out that the quote on my ‘FR homepage’ is very relevant.

Here's an interesting ebook. Its entitled

Collapsing Water and Energy Costs: How Bill Gates Or You! Can Create the Inventions That Spark the Next Industrial and Agricultural Revolution.

It shows how 4th generation portable nuclear power plants--the thorium LFTR designs will collapse the cost of electricity and oil. Further, how new technologies in water desalination will make that technology much cheaper and combined with thorium LFTR designs will make it possible to desalinate ocean water at prices cheap enough to pipe desalinized water inland 1000 miles for agricultural purposes.

Pretty interesting stuff.
