No matter how this turns out, Terry did not die in vain.
His death indirectly saved the lives of thousands, perhaps even millions, of Americans. Given what we now know about F and F, perhaps even the Republic itself.
A statue of him will probably never be made, but it should.
His death certainly saved many lives.
