Excuse me, if you wish to hurl personal attacks and call me an idiot for my understanding of the role of a bus monitor on a bus, then so be it. Your intelligence level is reflected well in your own words.

When I grew up in the 60s my dad was the local high school
agriculture science teacher. My siblings and I were well
known my most teachers and school staff in most of the
local schools so we were in check all of the time. In
those days if a kid disrespected ANY adult you could bet
he/she would catch hell at home. Once I had a school bus
driver who was quiet but had a reputation as a hard@ss.
Whenever he had enough bad behavior he would pull the
bus over, open the door, stand-up, and announce to the
offensive kid(s) that they could stop the nonsense or
hit the bricks. Old Steve didn’t have to do that too often
and he was always nice to me. All the classified staff
and bus drivers loved my dad because respected them and
showed it.
In this case the kids should be banned from riding the
bus, suspended from school for a few days, or both even
if the sanctions are not enacted until the next school
year or they are advancing to another school.
They also need to be compelled to attend an anti-bullying
training.
My guess is that the monitor might have been involved
in previously disciplining one of their friends. And,
I certainly can’t explain why a hard of hearing mon-
itor would be assigned to a bunch of middle schoolers.

The schools are on a mission to turn kids against fat like they were on a mission to turn kids against smoking. They go super overboard in their brain washing.
This is not an excuse for the feral kids, but it is important to notice the chidren focused on the woman’s fat body. They are encouraged in schools to harass their parents about fat and unhealthy food which is really an invitation kids to be disrespectful and bossy with parents. They did this with smoking, too. And with homosexuality.
Given the children were focusing their disrespect and hate towards the woman’s fat body - even mentioning she’ll die of diabetes, I wonder how seriously the school has taken the First Lady’s war on fat. Were they drilling the kids against fat like they have done in other campaigns of behavioral change they run...against sexual harassment againt women, homophobia, racism, smoking, global warming, etc. During these campaigns of hysterical brain washing, they tell kids to go after their parents which is basically disrespectful.

Sorry, don’t buy it.
Some people don’t parent but some teachers take FULL advantage of playing one parent against another to get goodies and help in the class. Your experience is your experience, mine is mine. And my experience is that teachers play a game of words (”parents don’t parent” while they feed their Scholastic Book orders in as parents “assist”) administrators could care less about discipline so the worst kids with the worst parents are coddled and some parents don’t parent. The whole idea of “you have to be involved” so this doesn’t happen with your kid is a ploy to have a school full of unpaid, yet taxed volunteers slaving away, fully taken advantage of by everyone from the lunch lady to the principal.
There is lots of blame to go around and that my friend is why I now homeschool.

4chan’s community (and sites like reddit) are all over this. The snotty spawn that taunted Karen Klein ownhave their names splattered about MULTIPLE message boards. This will haunt those little demons (and their parental units) for year.
Mrs. Klein has seen the worst (Children of the Corn—Greece, NY) and the best of humanity (over 80k raised so far—initially to send her on vacation, but now to allow the woman to retire with dignity. As for her taunters...expulsion from school and the (now) very public shaming should break their vile little worlds.
I’m waiting parental units to rush to microphones to defend their little darlings.
