The body of Aharon Zindani, who was murdered three weeks ago in Yemen, was brought to Israel Wednesday and will be buried Thursday evening in the Rehovot Cemetery. In a protracted and complicated operation, carried out by Jewish Agency personnel with the assistance of the Foreign Ministry, Zindani's body was brought out of Yemen together with his widow, Afya al-Ashar, and their five children.
Zindani, 46, was a leading member of the Jewish community in San'a. He made aliyah to Israel several years ago but then returned to Yemen. On Tuesday, May 22, when he was shopping in the market with his children, a man stabbed him several times. The murder is believed to have been motivated by anti-Semitism.
The Jewish community in Yemen numbers about 130 people, 50 of whom live in San'a in a compound with state-provided security. Yemeni authorities moved the Jews to the compound from northern Yemen – openly admitting they could not protect them elsewhere. The transfer left them with no means to earn a living.
The rest of the country's Jews live in Raida, in the Umran province.
In March 2009, a Yemeni court ruled a Muslim who murdered Yemeni Jew Moshe Yaish-Nahari – a father of nine from Raida – would only pay a fine because he was "an unstable extremist."
Witnesses say Abed el-Aziz el-Abadi, a former MiG-29 pilot in Yemen's air force, walked up to Nahari on 10 December 2008 and said "Jew, accept Islam's message." He then shot Nahari five times with a Kalashnakov rifle.

It is insanity to allow any Moslems into America, unless you really want the same things happening here. How do we encourage the new already here to leave?
I once read a book which mentioned that Yemen was considered the absolutely worst assignment by KGB agents. This was back when it was divided into North and South Yemen.
Also recall that it once had a huge Jewish (and Christian) population and was a beautiful prosperous country. That was before Islam choked it to death.
Also forgot to mention that Yemen is the land of Sheba in the Bible.
Moslems in Yemen have been with us a while. There’s almost nobody else there. Moslems in America are still a mere sliver of the population, though concentrated in various pockets. Keep it that way. Immigration quotas are not always a bad thing.
RIP. Seriously, it’s time to evacuate the remaining Jewish residents of Yemen before they’re murdered one by one.

Some Bible scholars have taught/thought that the Queen of Sheba was from Ethiopia, and the Ethiopian Christians also hold this. However, I think you are correct. Solomon’s fleet sailed by the coast of her realm, and this would pretty much make it Yemen, rather Ethiopia.
I once did a paper on the Queen of Sheba. At the time I had no idea where Sheba was. This was way back in 1970. I mostly used Biblical scholars which might be why I got Yemen almost exclusively.
Those old Scholars of hundreds or dozens of years ago were fantastically meticulous. I basically trusted them. I can see why some would say Ethiopia as it is not far from Yemen.
On the other hand, really ancient writers were referring to the area West of Egypt when they referred to Ethiopia.
The Yemeni Jews have lived in Yemen since King Solomon’s time. Many of the Moslem Yemenis would have Jewish blood in them as well. Islam is an evil religion.
