“But the media intentionally muffles any aggressive statements by Boehner and fosters the impression that he isn't supportive of Issa’s efforts for the express purpose of sewing discord among conservatives.

They pull stunts like this constantly.”

I remember seeing the same thing during the government shutdown showdown with Newt and Clinton.

I remember thinking “why don't the Republicans make their case. It is clear that the person at fault here is Clinton!”

Then I saw a speech by Newt on C-Span. It was wonderful. If most of America had heard it, Clinton would have been toast.

The MSM simply refused to air the Republican arguments.

It was during that time that I determined that our primary problem was not the politicians, it was the MSM.

Boehner seems completely unable to understand that there is a vast media network out there consisting of blogs, conservative websites and places like FR, the readership of which likely dwarfs the Old Networks completely. Yet, in knee-jerk fashion, he only goes to them to make statements or issue speeches.

In this, as in so many things, he is a dissappointment. He has been timid, frightened and unwilling to confront the rats on even the most basic elements of the conservative agenda. All of the energy from the ‘10 elections, which put him in the Speakers Chair, has been dissapated by his fumbling and inaction.

He can at least treat the MSM as they treat him: Make them go to the ‘net for their quotes. Give press conferences to allies, not enemies. Release statements to the blogosphere. Give interviews with the blogosphere, and keep them in communication at all times.

These simple things would change a lot in DC.

It was during that time that I determined that our primary problem was not the politicians, it was the MSM.

For at least a decade, I've been arguing the following...

The USA is simultaneously confronting three enemies:

1. Islamo-fascist terrorists.

2. The radical socialists in the Democrat party.

3. The radical socialists in the MSM.

And, of these, the most dangerous is the latter. For, without the support of the MSM, the other two would've been defeated years ago.
