The Obama Record: The chief executive who swore to faithfully execute the nation's laws picks those he'll ignore and makes up others through regulation and executive order. He sees no need for a Congress or Constitution.
Maybe it's because Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts stumbled a bit in leading President Obama through the oath of office that the president doesn't feel bound by it.
But through the awkwardness these words were heard: "I, Barack Hussein Obama, do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will faithfully execute the office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States."
It would not take Obama long to make clear he meant his interpretation of the Constitution, not the Supreme Court's, a principle established in Marbury v. Madison, the 1802 case that formed the basis for the exercise of judicial review in the U.S. under Article III of the Constitution.
In his State of the Union address a year later on Jan. 27, 2010, he shamefully scolded the justices on national television for "having reversed a century of law" in the Citizens United ruling in which the court was protecting the freedom of political speech enshrined more than two centuries ago in the First Amendment. We agree with Justice Samuel Alito's eloquent rebuff of the president, in which he was seen mouthing the words "Not true."

There's nothing unusual about this. He's not a citizen, so how are you gonna' make it stick? Face it, we haven't had a president since George W. This guy can't be held to an oath that he's not qualified to make.
I hate to keep repeating myself, but we ARE in the midst of a Marxist takeover. We conservatives put too much value in a victorious battle every now and again, while we continue to lose the war. It is the culture that matters more than number of “republicans” in the legislature at any given point that matters, and the culture ain’t doin’ well.
And keep re-reading Atlas Shrugged for the same reason.

I think we’re already there. The first egregious trigger event in my mind was him declaring Congress to be in recess, when they were still in official session, and making a number of illegal recess appointments. Were there worse before that? There probably were. I just can’t remember.
Sadly their are still to many members of the Republican party that view being in favor of the status quo is more important than any doubts about the survival of the Constitutional Republic.
Sadly these Republicans will gladly look the other way as Obama turns this nation into a dictatorship where the rights of the citizen are to be ignored whenever the political class thinks it is to its advantage.
Thank GOD for the TEA PARTY & the Libertarians as they are the folks that are actually doing the heavy lifting in this fight.

Where in the hell are the REPUBLICANS? This man has lost faith with the people and the Constitution. The republicans need to stand up and bring charges against him or get to the hell out of the way. He has given this country to foreigners. This is despotic and tyrannical. He has usurped the authority given to the Congress by fiat. Congress stays quiet. Where in the hell are the representatives of the people? This is not representative government. This is authoritarianism and violates the Constitution. If we have no Constitution then society breaks down and anarchy will reign. He has crossed the Rubricon. He is despicable. He is selling the future of our children for an almighty vote. Their future is certainly in peril. How far will we the people allow this to go forward. This is dangerous. Now, the strong man...the person who controls our military rules our lives with hubris and contempt. This is not freedom. Simply put it is tyrany.
I am just curious if you realize that he is already doing that?
