Arlen Specter was overheard muttering, “I didn’t leave baseball; baseball left ME!” Very sad.

This started Five years ago...way before Obama.

You mean when Democrats ran both the House and the Senate?

I’m of two minds on this. On the one hand Congress should have never gotten involved and who really cares if somebody lies to Congress. On the other hand does the jury actually think his fastball got faster after he turned 40 because of regular exercise?

How come government officials who clearly lie to Congress never get prosecuted; like Eric Holder.

Maybe the jurors found that Senators and Congressman as well as the one should be getting tried for Grand theft and Perjury.

If anyone deserves jail time it’s those Government clowns.

The point of the 5th is to protect against self incrimination even for something you didn’t do. The older Supreme Court Justices realized this because they were not experts (a dangerous word) in Court.

If you are accused it implies that there must be a body of evidence against you or you wouldn’t be in court. That subconsciously causes them to think you must be guilty or you would not be here. It reinforces it self.

Duke U. and others. Compounded with the admission that the DNA records, which you are told, are are virtually infalable

Great! Congress should stay the hell out of professional sports. With all the problems we have in DC, why they get involved in sports is beyond comprehension.

Good, now Congress can get back to doing their job and focusing on issues that are actually important to Americans.

The world needs a junky league, where the idea is to take as many performance-enhancing drugs as possible. Players who make themselves retarded and have mis-shapen skulls are especially welcome.

Erice Holder’s racist DOJ prosecuted Roger Clemmons to no avail. FU Eric Holder!! Clemmons lawyer bill must be half a million of so.

I bet it was a hell of a lot more than that. Remember when Jeremy Mayfield (Nascar) was accused of possessing and using meth? His attorney billed him more than $300,000 before withdrawing as Mayfield's attorney. And that was in the very early stages of the case.
