MOSCOW (AP) — Two Russian navy ships are completing preparations to sail to Syria with a unit of marines on a mission to protect Russian citizens and the nation's base there, a news report said Monday. The deployment appears to reflect Moscow's growing concern about Syrian President Bashar Assad's future.

From the article:

U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton issued a harsh reprimand of Russia last week, when she said that Moscow "dramatically" escalated the crisis in Syria by sending attack helicopters there. The State Department acknowledged later the helicopters she accused Moscow of sending were actually refurbished ones already owned by the Assad regime, but Russia was clearly annoyed, and the spat further fueled tensions ahead of President Barack Obama's meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin on the sidelines of the G-20 summit in Mexico on Monday....."

Was this major screw-up by Hillary reported ANYWHERE....? Without checking the facts, Hill blatantly accused the Russians of sending battle=ready attack helicopters to Syria- not the case.

Really pissed off the Russians....

One thing I like about the Russians is that they don’t give two craps about political correctness or insulting muslims.

They just blow them up real good...

There is another press release here noting Russia, China, Syria and Iran are having “war games” in the region.

So after bombing the crap out of Libya in order to get rid of Kaddafi, Hillary is going to lecture Russia about sticking its nose in another country’s affairs?

Agreed. It’s troubling that I find myself agreeing with the Russians against our democrat administration.

Hillary is an absolute disaster. Her solution for the Fukushima nuclear disaster was to send more Nuclear Plant coolant. This diplomat was given her job simply to placate a faction of the Democrat Party. What foreign policy experience did she have before taking this position ?

Its a funny little drama that’s playing out in Syria. Inviting Russians in never works out well in the long run. This is Mr. Putin’s War this time. Maybe he can bring order there. We wish him luck but there is little we can do at the moment.
