Geez.. United Airlines does that already... in spades! Just picked up my hubby and daughter after horrendous journey from Buffalo NY to LAX that took United 22.5 hrs. to complete and suffer the rude employees of United Airlines each and every step of the way. They finally boarded a plane at 12 noon Central time, but the pilot went home... so sat in plane until another crew came in from Denver flight to take theirs to LA. Apparently union contract, the pilot can leave after showing up for work if he/she does not get a flight within 2 hrs. Of course the luggage made it to LA way ahead of them.

United/Continental is an airline run by idiots. United itself was bad enough but when they brought in Continental management they truly jumped the shark. Their collective business model is pure crapola and their personnel policies are even worse.

I have worked with the Japanese. They are very rude, but use polite language. The only folks more rude than the Japanese are the Chinese. Their rudeness is ignoring. We round eyes simply don't exist. Lol. It's really amazing.

Tis true what I write. I've lived and worked with these folks all my life. And, of course, when they get to KNOW me, then it's all different....normal.

Each and every United employee they interacted with in Chicago was rude and borderline insulting... not just to them but pretty much all passengers. They really don’t give a good rat’s ass about customer service or any semblance thereof. They basically sell you a seat on an imaginary flight that “might” be taking off at a predetermined time. If I did this to my customers they would sue me into oblivion.

Big deal...
The American air carriers are no great shakes.
None have more then 3 out of 5 stars.

My last flight on one was a Delta flight from Paris to Atlanta, 2004. The stews were pathetic, not to mention, surly.
My last three flights have been on Qatar, one of four 5 star airlines.

There are about 32 four star airlines, none are American.
Delta and a few others have three stars.
Jap Carrier, Skymark, is not listed.

Continental was just fine as long as it operated out of Texas. When some pea brains decided to let Continental be taken over by United and move everything to Chicago it went to straight down in a hand basket.
