In many ways, the typical Prussian-model school resembles a compulsory prison for children whose only crime was to have the audacity to be born.
If the government treats children like prisoners we shouldn't be surprised to see prison social pathology in the form of bullying, social hierarchies ( alpha girls and boys) and in the formation of protection gangs ( cliques). Just as in an adult prison, I expect that teachers and principals develop a blind eye to these pathologies because just as in a hard-core prison it helps them to control the inmates. I not holding my breath for the Marxist dominated colleges of education or sociology to study the matter. Hey! Why should they? The results would put many of a job.
For the same reason no one studies the prison social pathology found in our prison-like government schools, no one in these colleges of education or sociology has ever studied if government schools teach anything. NO ONE knows how much learning happens in the classroom ( likely NONE) as compared to what is acquired IN THE HOME due to the hard work of the parents, the child ( himself) doing homework and projects, and/or privately paid for tutoring.
So?....If I am wrong. Post the links to the studies. You're the professional teacher. You should be immediately able to access these studies. They should be that familiar to you since this information would be a fundamental part of your professional knowledge and skill base.
BTW I assume that you did see the study I already posted to you, but you must be ignoring since it blows your argument out of the water

This hardly needs explanation. Has anyone seen or experienced school-level bullying in any other walk of life? Work? Play? Church? Shopping? The Rotary Club?
Many children live under the constant threat of violence. I attended a wealthy suburb with the proverbial “great school system” in the seventies. One small kid had his books dumped and kicked down the hall on a daily basis.
Does this happen at work?
He was discretely punched hard on the shoulder every day.
Does this happen to you around town?
I took a bloody nose for a mildly retarded kid who was being attacked by a pack of kids in elementary school. I turned away from the same situation in junior high, because the bullies were much bigger.
Yet the teachers looked the other way, as did I and the other students, to our everlasting shame.
No amount of judo classes would have helped this kid. He only needed to escape.
That people can justify this system of children’s prisons disgusts me, and I’m sick to death of the rationalizations.
And one more thing. One of my daughter’s 13-yr-old friends attempted suicide by swallowing a bottle of Tylenol due to school and Facebook bullying (”where’s your real mother?”). Another was hospitalized in a psychiatric institution for a month due to anxiety caused by bullying.
Yeah, keep rationalizing the free babysitting. /spit
