Actress Sarah Michelle Gellar and former Mayor Richard Riordan will be honored tonight at the Los Angeles Zoo during the 42nd annual Beastly Ball.
Gellar will receive the second Tom Mankiewicz Leadership Award from the Greater Los Angeles Zoo Association, which raises money for the zoo.
The award recognizes members of the entertainment industry who have excelled in establishing meaningful and lasting programs that contribute to the welfare of the world's natural and civic environment, association president Connie Morgan said.
Gellar, best known for her starring role on "Buffy the Vampire Slayer," which ran on The WB from 1997-2001 and UPN from 2001-2003, is a patron of the association's Safari Club and an advocate for the Make-A-Wish Foundation, Project Angel Food, Habitat for Humanity, breast cancer research and CARE, which fights global poverty.

What?! A Bestiality Ball?
The Beastly Ball is a benefit for the Greater Los Angeles Zoo Association (for which Ms. White serves as Co-Chairman). “Attendees have the chance to tour portions of the Zoo (Upper Africa, Elephants of Asia, and the LAIR) during the evening, eat their fill of food and drink, participate in the silent and live auctions, and dance under the stars. This year, the live auction will be emceed by Jimmy Pardo, and the event will honor Richard J. Riordan, former Los Angeles Mayor, as well as actress Sarah Michelle Gellar, recipient of the Tom Mankiewicz Leadership Award. This is a big ticket event; it’s $1,000 per person to attend.”

Too easy.
Freddie Prinze Jr. was funny as hell on Psych.
And I like your nick. I’m a fan of Sub Machine Guns too.
MP5SD, baby.
No, not sub machine guns, wiseguy? :)
Sarah looks very good today as well, and glowing . Granted I do not like paparazzi pics of SMG or even her daughter.

Sarah Michelle Gellar is a Jewish Republican. Incidentally, Tanya Roberts of “Charlie’s Angels” fame is also Jewish and Republican
Still Hawt!
So you have seen Sarah’s recent Tv appearances?
Buffy the Zookeeper?
I remember watching Freddy Prinze on Jay Leno a few years ago and for some weird reason Leno asked him about Hillary. He blurted out “I can’t stand her” or something to that effect and that he was a Republican.
I thought to myself, “good for your Freddy, but I’m sorry for your career”.
And...well....
A small club but every little bit helps
No but whenever I see her she looks great!
Is Jimmy Pardo Don’s son?
From the Art Fleming Jeopardy days....
Don’t tell the zoo, but our dear Sarah once promoted the eating of animals! Not that there’s anything wrong with that.

I like her new series, “Ringer” in which she plays twins. I am hopeful for a second season although her ratings weren’t spectacular for the first season they were ok. Personally I loved the series.
Stay away from the hyena exhibit — especially if it’s closed!!
Sorry “Ringer” was cancelled.
