Las Vegas (CNN) – Though Sarah Palin has recently endorsed several political candidates, she has yet to give an official nod to Mitt Romney. And on Friday, as she rallied conservative bloggers toward “victory in 2012” –- Palin didn’t even mention Romney’s name.
The former Alaska governor gave the keynote speech on the opening night of the RightOnline conference in Las Vegas -– a gathering of conservative leaders and new media activists. About 1,000 people descended on the city to attend the group’s fifth annual event.
Much of Palin’s speech was aimed at encouraging the grassroots activists ahead of the November elections.
She did not mention Romney as part of that potential victory.

Palin could help Romney, indirectly, in other ways. One way: firing up the base and possibly independents with a steady diet of anti-President Obama red meat.
While accusing the mainstream media of not properly vetting the president, Palin said: “We would have known, had the media done its job, of his strange attraction to the most leftist -– radical of leftist ideas.” And seizing on a hot button issue, the former Alaska governor charged, “If [the news media] had done their job, perhaps we would not be shocked to know that our White House would politicize national security by leaking highly confidential information to prop up the polls.”
Meanwhile, some of Palin’s zings were directed at members of her own party.
As she hailed last year’s pro-Gov. Scott Walker rallies in Wisconsin, Palin said: “Remember, while we were in Wisconsin defending tough, needed fiscal reform, some back in the establishment in [Washington] D.C., they were already walking back their promises to cut $100 billion dollars from deficit.”
In the 2010 midterm elections, House Republicans promised to cut $100 billion in spending, something they did not achieve.

GO SARAH. Campaign for a cause, not for a stiff establishment candidate who surrounds himself with petty staffers.
Seems to me that the Romney “supporters” are desperate to spread the blame around for what they know Romney is. I’m going to have a very good time when they claim “we” were duped.

Because he’s GOP? The only reason she would swallow her vomit & tell us to do the same would be that he’s not the fraud Obama.
That’s one hell of a note.
Fox News just pointed this out as well and I was thinking it was not the right place for Palin to mention Romney. But you could tell she kind of had to gloss over Romneycare when she brought up the fact that Obama attacked Hillary in 2008 over everything including her health care plan of 94 but the media did such a poor job that they did not mention that Obama was pushing for the same thing. I felt she skipped over Romney on purpose cause it was not the time nor place. Her focus was on Obama. But her point was the media is doing a bad job of covering politics.
That woman lifts my spirits every time I see/hear her.

Can’t say that I blame her after the treatment she recieved at the hands of Romney surrogates Steve Schmidt and Nicole Wallace in 2008.
Summer’s here again, and she’ll stay cool because of her well ventilated, stabbed in the back efforts of those jerks at the behest of their Boss Mitt Romney.
I applaud Palin for working towards/for Conservatives running for downticket elective office. I no longer doubt that Romney will clean Obama’s clock, and, like Palin, believe that we need a sufficently Conservative Congress to hold Romney’s feet to the fire. I trust him about as much as Palin does, which is to say not at all. His MO precedes him.
A newly elected Conservative Congress’ first order of business would be to replace the current Congressional leadership with a Speaker and Majority Leader each with a Conservative spine coupled with a big brassy pair.
The second order of business is to light a huge bonfire so that Romney’s feet don’t get cold....lit by the heat of Conservative fevor. (I want President Romney to regret ever wanting the presidency because of the ruckus a Conservative Congress brings when he strays from the straight and narrow.)
There’ll be a lot of work to do mucking out the Washington DC stalls....including today’s current deposit of Marxist poop.
Palin, whether you loath her or love her, loves this country and works towards the best possible outcome, regardless of efforts of the traitorous left, RINOs, and the crony corruption rampant in todays Congress/government.
It’s way past time for new blood to take care of the Peoples business.

How could they????? Democrat Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid refuses to pass a budget, without which government spending is on auto pilot, spiraling straight into the ground.
The fact is that Sarah hasn’t mention or ackowledge Romney at all even in her interviews or her Newsletters or Facebook posts in well over a month. A lot of Sarah supporters noted that and we’re talking about even when the host brings up Romneys name, she skips over the conversation about him and changes the subject
