If he wants to kill of the gop as a party then he picks rubio... millions of us arethisclose to quitting forever on the gop. They do not own me or my vote and I grow to hate the gop more with every passing election... and I am not alone. This is their LAST election to get it right... if they blow this... they might as well get ready to follow the Whigs.

They already blew it when the moderates and party establishment types (I repeat myself) pushed Romney across the nomination finish line. I hate to say it, but the presidency is lost to conservatives for at least four more years and probably more. Romney will likely win only because Obama is THAT bad, but Romney seems totally incapable of making the hard decisions to save this country. That’s the political reality as I see it. On a good note, I don’t think this can go on much longer. We are indeed a wealthy nation, but sooner or later government will indeed by broke. I would have preferred a soft landing, but I think the die is cast my FRiend.
