For three years, Wall Streets been telling the world how much it cant stand President Barack Obama.
Now, thanks to campaign finance filings, its possible to put a price tag on just how much: Mitt Romney's presidential campaign and the super PAC supporting it are outraising Obama among financial-sector donors $37.1 million to $4.8 million.
Near the front of the pack are 19 Obama donors from 2008 who are giving big to Romney.
Ken Griffin, founder of the Chicago-based hedge fund Citadel, has accused Obama of engaging in class warfare and gave $2,500 to Romneys campaign, plus nearly $1.1 million to the pro-Romney super PAC Restore Our Future. But in 2008, Griffin donated the maximum $4,600 to Obamas campaign and helped raise another $50,000 to $100,000.
It is critical that the next president appreciates that Americas prosperity is driven by the innovation and hard work of the American worker, whose valiant efforts have, in recent years, been undermined by the oppressive weight of government intervention, Griffin told POLITICO in a statement.
The 19 have already given $4.8 million to Romneys presidential campaign and the super PAC supporting it through the end of April, according to a POLITICO analysis of Federal Election Commission filings. Four years ago, they gave Obama $213,700.
None of them has given a penny to the presidents reelection campaign or the super PAC supporting it.

Great, now we’ll have another President beholden to the bankers. more stimulus and bailouts coming in the next 4 years if Mttens wins.
“I think youre going to see a 1-2 punch of superpac/GOP working for Romney and grassroots conservatives/tea partiers working for conservatives in the down-ticket races.”
Give this man a cigar, a Cuban!!
Money is the Mother’s Milk of Politics.
Don’t spring that on us unawares.
Another four yrs is not going to make her any more appealing either, especially after the tsunami that is about to hit her party.
Just like 2008.
First president unable / incapable of using a knife and fork.
I agree with you. Even though the depth of my contempt for Obama is immeasurable and can only by expressed by the symbol for infinity I am NOT DISAPPOINTED with him! I believed what he actually promised during the campaign which was in reality that he would do everything in his power to destroy the United States of America and see that it never recovers. This was the real message for those who bothered to listen and understand, those who did not hear that message simply refused to hear it. As one who understood what he was actually saying I would support the notion that he may be the number one president of all in terms of keeping his campaign promises.
I'm mostly surprised that no one else is calling him out for this. You shouldn't tell people to go pick a fight unless you're willing to back them up.

Shh.... People on this site get cranky if you mention UM’s name.
I hate the 1% for supporting Obama in 2008. They had theirs and did not care about the rest of the US.
It's a never ending source of amazement (and amusement) to me that so many people are terrified of The Return of The Hildabeast.
A. She'll be 71 in 2016. That's older than Reagan was in 1979.
B. Appearance-wise, she seems to have aged a full decade since 2008.
C. She'd be crazy to step in now and inherit Zero's mess.
D. She has said repeatedly that she has no desire to seek higher office.
E. Unlike terrified Freepers, she understands that black Dems are going to revolt against the party if anyone tries to replace Zero in 2012.
In short, Hillary knows that her last window of opportunity passed in 2008. America simply isn't going to elect a woman who's old enough to be a great grandmother in 2016. Especially when that woman's politics are identical to the guy who's brought the nation to the brink of total collapse.
Yes, I know, but the information there has been proven correct multiple times, and is more accurate than anything we are being spoon-fed.
I agree with you. I was skeptical at first, but I’ve been reading it the past couple years, and the info WHI & WSI have provided has been very accurate. I was trying to signal you that I was a fellow reader by using ‘UM’ in my reply. I guess I was too subtle. I just can’t understand why folks on FR have such a problem with it. You’d think they would follow it and then decide if it has any merit instead of dismissing it out of hand.
The serious floating of the Beast shows just how desperate the RATs are. Cuomo is about their only viable candidate for 2016 and he ain’t appealing outside of the East Coast.
Your analysis and conclusion are exactly right.
No one has said anything about these financial developments being something likely to make you or anyone vote for Romney. It merely shows resources being diverted from the RATs which is a good thing.
You can want all you wish but that money is NEVER going to come back to the tax payers. You will more likely get Free Pie.
And when it comes down to it the Tea Party will line up behind the Cultist since the alternative is utter disaster.
