“I saw Florida backstage and she was very, very flustered and upset. I thought it might be because she didn’t make the top 15 cut, but at that point she was able to reveal to me at least four of the five names who went on to be the top girls,” the contestant, who spoke on condition of anonymity, told FOXNews.com exclusively. “She couldn’t remember the fifth because she was so upset. Several of the girls then started hearing through the grapevine about a list; a lot of people were upset.”

“Apparently the morning of June 3rd [Brez] saw a folder lying open to a page that said 'FINAL SHOW Telecast, June 3, 2012' and she saw the places for Top 5 already filled in,” Monnin wrote on her Facebook page. “After the Top 16 were called and we were standing backstage she hesitantly said to me and another contestant that she knew who the Top 5 were. I said 'who do you think they will be?' She said that she didn't 'think' she 'knew' because she saw the list that morning. She relayed whose names were on the list. Then we agreed to wait and see if that was indeed the Top 5 called that night. After it was indeed the Top 5 I knew the show must be rigged.”

So, were the sports books downstairs and in other places like the “M” casino taking action on this?
If so, this could be bigger than just another false TV show premise.
Meaningless except that Trump is sueing the first girl who (apparently) told the truth about this.
Will Trump apologize to the first contestant now? Or will he use his money and power to destroy this contestant also?
Trump has a credibilty problem here and he wants to keep it quiet.
If you tell me that professional wrestling is rigged, I might just jump off a bridge.
It’s meaningless to you, but not to the women who work hard and believe the rules they all knew going in pertained to everyone. This is actually bigger than you may think.
It’s serious if the contestants don’t know it’s rigged. Nothing wrong with a professional wrestling type of “competition” as long as everyone know the game. But participants need to know.

My family and I were in Las Vegas in 2010 during the time the Miss Universe was at the Mandalay Bay. We splurged and got tickets for the wife and 2 daughters. Of course I did not go and played poker instead. Before the broadcast the hosts mentioned it is to paraphrase a “scripted” show. The two biggest fan bases were Filipanos and Mexicans. Guess who made the finals Miss Mexico, the eventual winner, and Miss Phillipines.

Maybe Bill Clinton and John Edwards could co-chair a Special Commission on Beauty Pageants. Perhaps Barney Frank could be Special Prosecutor since he could be impartial.
Funny you should mention that! I thought it was pretty hilarious that Sharon Osbourne got suddenly cut from the show for seemingly no reason. Then in the next episode the contestants had to put their charities on a bottle of Snapple. Sharons was Colo-rectal Cancer Awareness. Betya Snapple said, “She's fired!”
It's about as relevant and memorable as Rounds 4 thru 7 of each year's NFL Draft.
