Earlier this month, a judge threw George Zimmerman back in jail, after prosecutors said Zimmerman and his wife misled the court about their finances.
On Tuesday, his wife, Shellie Zimmerman, was booked into the same facility on a perjury charge.
According to the Seminole County Sheriff's Office, deputies were alerted by prosecutors Tuesday that a warrant had been issued for Shellie Zimmerman, 25. She was arrested about 3:30 p.m. "at the location she was residing in Seminole County," deputies said in a statement

Did you people even read the story? They allegedly withheld information about a LOT of money that was raised from everyday Americans (probably some FReepers included in there). If you want the law to work for you, you have to follow it.

The state's case is weak and the charge is being applied selectively.
I'm sure the prosecutor is high-fiving it right now - but I wouldn't be too confident this will turn out well for the state, if I was in their shoes.

The judge released his decision about denying bail to George because he lied to the court. The judge said that George is dishonest. He claims Shelly knowingly made false statements in court about the status of their assets and George did not correct her even though he could have. He claimed Shelly and George talked in code about the money when George was first in jail, indicating they were hiding it from the court. He claimed there is a strong case against George’s self defense claim.

No, Shellie Zimmerman told the court exactly how to find out how much money was in the account, and neither the prosecution, nor the judge were interested enough to contact the brother-in-law to find out. The money changed daily, and she didn't know the current total. She declined to give an estimate.
That money is just going to go to the state of FL and O'Mara & Company.

their attorney, Mark O’Mara, knew ALL about the account before the bond hearing. Why didn’t he counsel them on what to say and what not to say? I believe it’s more likely that they did NOT know what to say and did not have good counsel.

The paypal account was one that was publicly well known AND was a defense fund that the Zimmermans did not intend to have control over and in fact was turned over to his attorney O'Mara right after he was hired.

That is what I have been posting all along that would happen. A Jew in 1030s and early 40s Germany going before a “People;s Judge” in a “People’s Court” would have gotten a fairer trial than Zimmerman will get. He will rue the day that he did not take his wife and himself and flee to Peru.
