If he were white, conservatives would be just as opposed and more vocal. His black ancestry has allowed his supporters to attribute principled opposition to vile racism. This shuts down discussion and slanders the person opposed to his policies. Yet, it's all a con game. They know we didn't support Clinton and his socialistic policies for health care, for example. They know we don't agree with bigger government approaches. Yet, this McCarthyite slander works for them to quiet many people. Instead of saying we're communists to shut us up they say we're racists. That's their tolerance. That's their counter argument. That's their bludgeon to end diversity of ideas.

The Left/Democrat Socialists in this country judge a person first by their politics, followed closely by the color of their skin then their "protected class" status (e.g., female; homosexual; Muslim; etc., etc.). Based on the history of the past 50 years or so, qualities such as values, morals and principles are so far down their list so as to be considered essentially irrelevant.

Although only fractionally "black", Obama is far and firmly to the left, he "looks black" and he is easily molded to what the Democrat Socialist party leaders need ... by their calculation, he is the "perfect candidate".

Without these "qualifications", Obama would have no better chance at being president than does, say, Al Sharpton or the "Rev." Wright.
