They need to shut down their football program for 20 years until nobody remembers this ****. If nothing else, they’re not going to be able to recruit serious talent for that long.

And dismantle their stadium just to make sure. Personally, I believe collegiate “athletics” are a national disgrace and a distraction for secondary education. At most colleges and universities, the head coaches make far more money than the administration. I abhor the fact that these institutions, particularly those that are state-run and financed, are just farm clubs for “professional sports” franchises. But those who want to sit with a beer in front of their TV’s each weekend ( and who, for the most part probably didn’t go to college themselves) like this crap and don’t mind that the taxpayers are subsidizing their “entertainment.”
They've actually been recruiting OK so far, which shocks me. I guess there are a lot of meathead football players who don't read the newspapers. Eventually, the high school coaches need to tell their kids to look elsewhere.
Between the criminal and civil trials, this is going to drag on for a decade and set the university back $100 million or more. And the road games for PSU are going to be brutal! Can you imagine traveling around the country as the official pedophile school for college football?
I assume the Penn State locker room (with the showers) is no longer on the recruiting tour.
