Los Angeles County officials are investigating what appeared to be a pair of lungs found on a sidewalk in unincorporated South Los Angeles.
A citizen called to report what she thought were the organs about 8:30 p.m. Sunday in the 13100 block of Avalon Boulevard, said Sgt. Robert Dean of the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department.

Dang. What causes that?
*nully ducks and runs for cover* (nully knows full well what 'idiopathic' means)...
No known cause no known cure other than a transplant to the tune of about a million dollars.
Idiopathic=no known cause, no known cure other than a transplant. Lungs stiffing and am on 02 24/7. Total cost for a double transplant close to a million dollars...........

I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers in the meanwhile.

...but if you ever see a picture of a G, or even an example of a real walking specimen, and hes got both air bags and windpipe just dangling out from his lips, make sure you give him my number. Im always up for meeting another veteran of Yonkers. </World War Z>
I wouldn’t even venture a guess on the causation, but in no way would I ever accept the “no cure” nonsense.
Without hesitation, I would start on proteolytic enzymes in large doses if it were me. They have cured people with cystic fibrosis, when the doctors told the victims that they had no chance.
I would also go heavy on capsaicin (hot peppers) tincture in water and give lobelia tincture a try to see if it releaves your breathing symptomatically, if nothing else. Asthma patients use it with excellent results.
I make the tinctures that I use myself. It’s easy; just chop up the habanero peppers or lobelia herb, and then soak them in vodka. Usually they will be strong enough to be effective within a day and can be kept indefinitely. Fill the jars 2/3 full with the herb, then pour in the vodka.
You can get the lobelia (if it doesn’t grow in your neighborhood wild) from Pacific Botanicals in Grant’s Pass Oregon 541-479-7777
I will certainly look into this “med”.
Asthma and COPD patients have a totally different breathing problem. They have a carbon dioxide problem, I don’t.
Guys, the smog is not that bad in LA anymore. Not even in South Central.
I’m not saying that I know what your problem is, just what has helped thousands of others with vastly differing breathing problems.
Its always worth giving the things that help others a try, even though we’re not all alike.
I have one other thing to suggest: Fresh, peeled garlic, like they sell at Costco, and wash it in raw, unfiltered apple cider vinegar, and chew 3 0r 4 cloves of it a couple of times per day.
What it is, is a mild on your body, but tough on fungi and bacteria, antibiotic that has a hot taste the first few times you do it, but you get used to it quickly. I know your main issue isn’t bacterial, but you’d be surprised how eliminating small unnoticed things can help the big ones at times.

Actually, the big problem wasn’t smog, as such, but the heavy unburned fuel vapors that hung close to the ground that made everyone wince. Now that isn’t a biggie because of computer controlled EFI that eliminates the excess fuel.
In California, the “Smog” will never be gone because it is naturally created by the constant onshore moving clouds that create lots of static electricity that makes lots of oxides of nitrogen. We had it long before cars were here.
The coroner is a killjoy...
For your friends sake, get used to brushing with powdered bicarbonate frequently!
Nothing else really works to handle the breath.

A skillful play on words? :o)

THANKS!
No surprise. There was a pic of him smoking a butt on a yacht AFTER his throat cancer treatments.
