Election 2010 / Tea Party happened and is still happening (Wisconsin).

He awakened the sleeping giant. The frog realized this wasn’t just a hot tub that was a bit too warm.

I have a libinlaw who adamantly claims that she’s not a socialist and neither are the ‘rats and if they go too far, they’ll just be voted out of office. There are certain “points of no return” though that the left is trying to achieve. She doesn’t think those points exist.

They know that once a big government program, or agency, is on the books it is almost impossible to rid ourselves of it. It is near impossible to fire a federal employee. The Department of Energy was started in the 70s under Carter with the stated purpose of making us energy independent. Instead, they have just kept adding new chores for themselves.

Unless Obama Care is overturned that will be a point of no return. The EPA is another. Cap and Trade would be another.

However, as Scott Walker and the Wisconsin Republicans have shown us, it can be done. Maybe that will inspire some Tea Party elected politiicans.
