There is not even the same enthusiasm and excitement in the Black Community that there was in '08. He will get the same percentage of the Black vote this time but he will NOT get the same number of votes. Absolutely spot on. Many of the wishy-washy Independents will swing to Romney, and while most of Obama's base will stick with him, you're right about the number of votes being smaller.

I do believe Obama will lose. All the numbers and the simmering anger point to a decisive win for the GOP. I wonder how that will be spun by the libs? America's first black President was an epic failure.

In 2008, most Chapel Hill cars had Obama, HRC or Edwards stickers.

The recurring theme is that “we had such high hopes, but we are very disappointed”.

If election day is rainy, and BHO is down in the polls, turnout for BHO in NC will be dismal. This cascade of events could lead to a Republican landslide.
