The only difference between Zombie rounds and their standard self defense rounds is that Zombie rounds lack the nickel plating around the casing. A box of either round costs the same, Zombie rounds cost less to manufacture.

On the whole, especially now in hindsight, a brilliant marketing campaign.

I agree 100%.

I read in the last day or so that even non gun owners are buying Hornady's Zombie Ammo for 'kicks'. Some even using them for paperweights or 'Desk ornament' at work (must have a gun friendly boss).

I may even get a box of the 9mm. Can always use more ammo no matter what the box looks like.
And naturally, just in case a Zombie or two shows up in my Village and starts eating people.

(Never can tell what will happen now on our 'south side'. Lots of Amish in the Apartment Complexes there and crime rates are now rising)
