I personally would rate Carter way below Bush. But I consider Bush the worst REPUBLICAN president since Hoover, and probably the second or third worst Republican president ever.

Scratch that. Nixon was down there, too — among the bad Republican presidents, I mean.

The best Republican presidents: Reagan, Lincoln, Coolidge, Eisenhower, McKinley, and yes - Harding (a free market pro-liberty president).

I think he should be above all three: Carter, Clinton and George H.W. Bush.

Damn Meena, Project Much?

Your Little Dictator is falling on his ASS over and over. The loyalty to the “PARTY” is disgusting.

Wipe your ass, empower people through positive hard work and watch the results. I’ll bet you are a liberal arts major.

Why should I give a damn what you think about GW Bush? ....Is it imperative that Bush haters post this crap ?
What exactly do you gain from it?

There are still some who still think that trying to re-write the GWB legacy will bring something good. It won’t.
He was a disaster and it’s long over-due to fire Boehner and McConnell too.

At least he stays away from the camera, I respect him for that.

Unfortunately I don’t think Romney learned the lesson.

If history teaches that TARP was a success then Bush's administration put it into place. If the US continues with the Bush policies of protecting us from radical Islam than the Bush administration is a success.

This poll had nothing to do with which president had the best policies.

The reason W is the most unpopular is because he still refuses to defend himself or his record. Obama, Pelosi and the Dems know this, so they can use him as a punching bag for whatever suits their purpose. It drives me crazy, but Bush refuses to engage in the debate.

The Democrats made attacking the next Republican President after the impeachment of Clinton a top priority in order to show the American voters the consequences of attacking Democrats. RINOs seeking bipartisan cooperation let Bush down during his first term and since Jan 2007 Pelosi and Reid and the Democrats controlled the budget / spending via “continuing resolutions”......till today. Add the complete compliance by the media in misreporting Bush and you have the formula for swaying a misinformed public, ergo, Barack Obama.
I did not agree with some of Bush’s domestic policies but I consider him one of our great presidents, certainly better than Clinton, Nixon, Johnson or Kennedy.

“When asked in the survey whether they are better or worse off than they were four years ago, Americans are split, 44% to 43%. But when asked whether they are better or worse off than they were four years ago “when Bush was president,” a small gap opens - 47% say they are better off compared to 41% who say they are worse off.”

What is interesting is that the people admit they were better off 4 years ago but when they add President Bush's name to the polling question they somehow change their minds. Sounds like they polled people who bought into all the Bush bashing from the MSM and the democrats you know the same people who say that Obama can't control the economy or gas prices yet Bush was the root of all the countries ills and is responsible for everything.

I was better off 4 years ago and I wish they would have polled me. Bush was not perfect by any measure but he is 100% better than the piece of crap we have in office now in my opinion.

Yes, I automatically trust any poll sponsored by CNN. They have no bias or agenda whatsoever, especially during an election year. /s
