I have tried EVERYTHING!
I just tried to update and received this message on Adobe:
“Your Google Chrome browser already includes Adobe® Flash® Player built-in. Google Chrome will automatically update when new versions of Flash Player are available.”
So I guess I’m good to go....
....is the particular video still available on YT?....sometimes they get dropped by them
I assume your audio works for other things like audio files on your computer and or other video sites other than youtube.
Make sure you have latest Flash Player you can update in your browser.
Here is a youtube video with audio
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QZDS3miKQCc
You may already know all this but here is a possible problem. Between the Play / Pause button at bottom left of video box AND the Time length of video, is a Volume / Mute button (looks like speaker icon). If there is a X after the speaker icon the audio is muted, click it to un-mute ...when you put mouse pointer on speaker icon a volume slider appears beside it ...slide with mouse pointer to increase or decrease volume.
..when was the last time Google messed with you about updating your profile?...the last time it had me all screwed up...
Danged-ol Adobe flash!
Reboot!
it’s goofy stuff....sometimes I just go do something else....and it’s fine when I get back to it.......
I just downloaded the latest Adobe Flash player
but my video still keeps stopping to buffer, I guess
that’s what it’s called, the constant stopping
and starting makes watching anything a real pain.
Plus it keeps saying I have internet explorer 7
and they are ending use of that. what should I go to?
?????????
Thanks for your help - I’ll keep playing with it.
I use some freeware I got off the web to download youtube videos to my HD. It works great and has a lot of various tools built into the package.
Go here and read about it and if you think it sounds like what you want then download it. I’ve been using this tool for a few years now and it’s only had a couple of times it didn’t work but they sent out updates and fixed the problem each time.

Thanks!
Can you save the vids to the RealPlayer Library or is a new folder required to save these files?
Buffering could be caused by a slow computer or a slow internet connection. You definitely need to ditch the internet explorer 7 though.
Try downloading portable Opera or portable Firefox to a flash drive and see if they work any better for you.
It could be my connection, I’m running Verison Mifi
as I don’t have a land line here and I have to say
it’s not impressed me. I do live out aways though.
Sometimes, you can just pause a youtube video right after it starts for 10 or 15 seconds and that will give it some time to load so you don’t have it stopping and starting in the middle.

Your current bandwidth reading is:
657.40kbps
That’s one speed test it varies.
I suppose I should be glad to get anything at all
but I’m paying for 4G service, don’t know that
I’m getting it.
That’s more like 3g speed.
That’s what I thought.
Will have to go talk to them.
There is a spot on the GUI that allows you to set the download directory of your choice. So you can put the files anywhere you want.
I have mine safe the files in my Itunes folder where I keep all my videos. Movies, music videos, etc. Then when I open Itunes I use their tool to change how it looks at each video. I change it to see music videos as such and movies as such and so on and so forth.
It’s a good tool and it is simple and free.
I suggest you learn to read lips.
Thanks.
