Let’s hope this is the beginning of many seeing Dollar for the wolf in sheep’s clothing he is.

Have you ever listened to his television sermons? He explains the Word of God better than most pastors. This is very unfortunate. At this point I think it best to reserve judgment. The media is more than happy when an evangelist fails in any way.

Amen! He is one of the worst heretics out there with his “Word of Faith”, “Prosperity Gospel” teachings.

I remember once catching a couple of minutes of his “preaching” on TV, where he discussed Philippians 2 which speaks of, Christ, despite being in the form of God and equal with God, humbling Himself and “making Himself of no reputation”.

Dollar went on to explain that he was doing the same thing as the Lord. He said that he drove fancy cars and lived in big mansion (off the tithes and offerings of his gullible followers, and the fools who bought his books and tapes, of course) and as a result he had a bad reputation (basically as a greedy, charlatan). By his reasoning, he had “made himself of no reputation”, just like the Lord.

This might be the single greatest twisting of Scripture that I have ever heard, as it taught the exact, opposite of the meaning of the passage.

OH... you are so correct. It would be much better if Creflo lived off the public dole, had children who were drug dealers and helped support his habit, and who attacked armed Neighborhood Watch Captains because they were consuming SLIZZURP and hated their mother for kicking them out and sending them to their father's girlfriend's home, where their father didn't really want them around either.

I went to one of this type of church and soon figured out what it was all about. People I worked for at the time went there at and invited me. I was looking for a church and thought why not?

From the first Sunday I found that the only reason we were there were as cash cows to improve the net income of the preacher. I went maybe 5 times until he said, “When you need your money that you have given to the church, you can demand it from God and he will pay you a hundred fold return.”

I thought the hundred fold return was a good deal but I also thought it risky to be an Indian giver (no insult meant to Native Americans since I have a little Native blood myself).

Now I was of the opinion that the Creator of Everything was probably not very happy with the idea that one of his creations would have the gall to demand anything from him. I walked out the door and never went back.
