Have you ever listened to his television sermons? He explains the Word of God better than most pastors. This is very unfortunate. At this point I think it best to reserve judgment. The media is more than happy when an evangelist fails in any way.
I've seen him on TV a few times and like how he speaks. With the few details we have here, we should not judge him about restraining a 15 year-old heading down the wrong path. Have some siblings who in their teen years insisted on partying, drinking, doing drugs, and running with the wrong crowd -and dared my parents to try and stop them. Made for some interesting evenings. Back in those days though, police were on the side of the parents.
He does give good sermons? I watch him preach on TV once and a while and he does a real good job explaining the Bible. He keeps it interesting and makes it easy to understand. I could see why he rakes in so many dollars.
Yeah, I’ve watched his sermons. He said “ God wants me to have those (muti-million dollar) jets!”
NOOOOOOOO, God wants you to be poor and humble. He wants you to sell your houses, planes, and stuff, and follow Him.
Why should you have million dollar homes and jets while children are STARVING? What do you think Jesus will think about that?
This guy is a shyster. Con artist. Man of God???? Ha ha ha.
I hope he goes to jail.
He is a word/faith prosperity gospel type of preacher. Hank Hannegraaff exposed him and many others of this ilk as frauds, Joyce Meyers, Kenneth Copeland, Kenneth Hagin etc. They are driven by greed and are NOT preaching the Word of God. They are more like a cult deceiving their members into thinking they are a Christian church.
You are deceived. He may stumble onto some truth now and again, but the man is a false profit! For the sake of your soul and the souls of your family, run from this man.
Have you seen his money dance?

Back in the early 90’s, before he was widely known, I heard him speak- small room at a Holiday Inn. He was very charismatic, but very much “prosperity” gospel. I got his number the second time he returned to town. I was working on my pilot’s license. He flew in and it was quite the flashy show with his private jet, limo, security, etc. A wise friend pointed out that people that were really famous that flew in did so incognito and didn’t take a big limo. I had a Godly light bulb moment.
Well, I've only heard a bit of one, years ago. I was flipping channels and happened on his show. He was telling his congregation that it's OK to tell God you need a new car, and furthermore, it's OK to tell Him you don't want some piece of junk, you want a Cadillac!
That was all I needed to hear.
