Missouri Democratic Senator Claire McCaskills three leading Republican challengers all now earn 50% or more of the vote in matchups with her.
The latest Rasmussen Reports telephone survey of Likely Missouri Voters shows former State Treasurer Sarah Steelman with the widest lead. Shes ahead of McCaskill by 12 points, 51% to 39%

Her newest ad shows her mom claiming that Claire blew the whistle on the burial "mistakes" at Arlington Cemetery!
What a crock!
Hopefully, she's taken down by John Bruner, a real conservative business man.
John Brunner is, I believe but I’m from just across State Line Road in KS.
Why is it that women on the Left holding office look like hell?
Since they’re driving the country to hell, might as well look the part.
They make up for being "butt ugly" by finding self importance by being liberal.
I can't explain any more as to why they are liberal.
Junk yard dog ugly syndrome!
I understand the fears about the GOP Establishment. One thing to remember is that the Establishment disliked Rand Paul in Kentucky, but came aboard after he won the primary. I imagine they’ll react the same way in Missouri if Sarah Steelman wins the primary. Even if the state party resists, the national party and Senate Caucus will be on board.
I like the Republican ad running on TV & they call her ObamaClaire......very clever. I live in IL so my vote is moot but love to watch what they are putting out in MO.
August 7.
I've heard her say she supports TORT reform - but based on her past record, I don't believe her.
Any of the 3 leading Republican contenders could beat Claire McCaskill AND do a better, more conservative, "TEA Party" job representing Missourians. Right now, I like Todd Akin best. He has the most conservative voting record of anyone in the US House and he supports repealing the 17th Amendment.
At the risk of sounding overconfident (which I'm not; I just call it the way I see it developing), I think we are going to see the evisceration of the Democratic Party occur on November 6, 2012.
Now, assuming that that does occur, is the GOP going to grind the carcass of the RATS into dust or not? That to me is the real question.
.......is the GOP going to grind the carcass of the RATS into dust or not? That to me is the real question.
Give them NO quarter. Grind, grind, grind.
I completely agree. Exterminate them.
They are the enemy; there’s no other answer. They HATE what “AMERICA” is to their (rotten) core.
It’s VERY clear what the RATS stand for. And any folks who think the RAT Party is the party of the “working, common man” are either:
1. Woefully misinformed.
2. Outdated in their thinking.
3. Plain stupid.
How any sane AMERICAN can vote for a RAT is beyond me.
I have very often “blanked” elections on my ballots because I refuse to vote for a RAT (many times they run unopposed here).
How do you cope with being surrounded by people who vote time and again for the likes of Bawney Fwank, the Kennedy’s and Kerry?
They are watching the People wise up and turn off their crap. They aren’t being watched or read and “journalists” are being fired laid off almost every day. And people are telling them why.
I dropped in over there for a while last Tuesday evening after Walker had thoroughly trounced the commies-they were so far down they were even savaging Anklepants!
Yes, Sarah Steelman was endorsed by the Tea Party Express.
The St. Louis Tea Party Coalition has not endorsed any primary candidates. I am not aware of endorsements by other Missouri Tea Party groups.
I have as little as possible to do with them. And that includes relatives.
Also, I don’t discuss politics with them, unless they start. If it’s respectful (mostly older folks, FDR fans), I’m respectful back. If it’s a typical “Occupy/Occupy wannabe” idiot, I give it right back.
I have to say, I don’t hear much chirping these days.
