Good news. Thanks.
Akin is a solid convervative. He is also a long time home schooler. See link for a good article on him.

“.....can be more destructive and difficult to dislodge than an ineffective and obvious moron, out to lunch, loony Democrat such as Boxer.....”
Unfortunately Boxer has been in the Senate since the early 90’s. Never underestimate the stupididy of the American electorate.
When is the Missouri primary and/or decision as to who the Senate is?
When is the Missouri primary and/or decision as to who the Senate is?
Yes they do. Ever heard of Patty Marray from WA state?
Me too. McCaskill is an embarrassment to the people of Missouri.
That was an excellent article. I am glad to get the information. Most homeschoolers are conservative on other issues like abortion and gay marriage. I do not automatically go for the Tea Party candidate. They have made mistakes before. Alot of them went for Ron Paul and that to me was very short-sighted and stupid. And, Steelman is not my favorite. I think she acts a little too affected for my tastes. This isn’t a movie role the candidates are trying out for and her appearances on TV have seemed very TVish to me. I have liked Akin all along even though I am not in his district. He is a good family man and we need good people to represent Missouri in DC.
This is exceptionally good news, thanks for sharing it!
Better call in Michael J Fox.. Obama cannot help her.
Thanks be to God! McCaskill was outfront in her adoration of and solicitude for the Marxist, outfront in promoting him and a major player during his campaign and into his Intro To Marxism 101, forced to course through the Republic.
Clara was fat and happy until the people awakened and found her hiding their light bulbs. Well, their light bulb is on now.
I am very thankful to God and for all the prayerful who have been on their knees begging Him to intercede.
” Its amazing how polls are so accurate all of a sudden. “
Truer words were never spoken. One thing is clear, the elite media has turned considerably, to a shocking degree, willing to make their die hard Marxist pal interviewees look terribly foolish and quite out of step.
They have even stopped doing Axlerod any favors for the smoke he blows. And Clinton, they COVERED that quite objectively! Unbelievable. They actually entertained what he said, except for the few outright Marxists among them, his common sense point was repeated and not mocked.
The worm is turning. Things are so bad that we knew it was going to take some liberal help to get this guy out of here.
Many of them are scared too.
Rasmussen polled all three Republicans against McCaskill, and all three have big leads:
Sarah Steelman (R) 51%
Claire McCaskill (D-inc) 39%
John Brunner (R) 51%
Claire McCaskill (D-inc) 41%
Todd Akin (R) 50%
Claire McCaskill (D-inc) 42%

I think it’s time we changed McCaskill’s first name to “Blanche.”
I was looking at some primary polling data on the Republican side, but all I can locate is Dem-leaning PPP polling. As of 5/28, it shows Steelman narrowly in 1st with 28%, but she has declined from 40% since last year’s polling (and down 4% since January). Businessman John Brunner is now in 2nd place and rising at 25%, up from 18% in January. Rep. Todd Akin is in 3rd place with 23%, unchanged from January (but a slip from 2nd place), and overall down from 29% last year, his highest.
Still, the nomination is Steelman’s to lose. My worry remains, however, that the party establishment will viciously attack her as they did when she ran in the primary for Governor in 2008, something more unlikely with Akin or Brunner as the nominee. I endorsed Akin, but I have no particular problems with the other two, as far as I can tell.
Along with that, it's horrible to navigate.
This would speak against any Senate “trend” toward the rats.
Although she is clearly now in more danger than Tester in MT or any other rat incumbent. I guess it’s just her. She doesn’t have much talent when it comes to staying popular I guess.
From what I’ve seen in my research, Sarah Steelman is the PREMIER candidate as far as having conservative, tea-party values. She would be a great Senator and is not one that would “go along to get along”. We need more folks such as Sarah Steelman in the Senate.
“Akin is the most knowledgable but Steelman might have a gender advantage against McCaskill.”
Yeah, polls seem to confirm it.
Glad to hear she’s a conservative.
