President Obama and Mitt Romney are neck-and-neck in Rasmussen Reports first look at the presidential race in Colorado.
A new statewide telephone survey of Likely Voters shows both the president and his likely Republican challenger receiving 45% support in the Centennial State. Six percent (6%) prefer some other candidate in the race, and five percent (5%) are undecided.

means he’ll have to spend more of his money defending states like CO and WI instead of putting it all into Florida and Ohio.
This is a key state. Given how well Obama did there in 2008 against a Senator from a neighboring state, I find this very encouraging.
All you long time Coloradans really should do something about that influx of fleeing Kalifornians...really!
I’ve been waiting for 3 months for Romney to visit the Fort Collins area. Obummer is pouring attack ads into the state as he knows he could be in trouble here.
CO and NV are going to be key as it looks as though 0bama has got a solid lead in Va.
“means hell have to spend more of his money defending states like CO and WI instead of putting it all into Florida and Ohio.”
Good point.
There was a point in 2008 when if CO had flipped, mclame and PALIN would’ve been leading in enough states to get to 270. Then the economy collapsed.
There is a huge mormon population south of Denver that will support and get out the vote for Romney, it can only help him.
I think I remember those counties went full bore for Romney in the Colorado primary.
Friend, Obama will not carry one Southern state. Forget it!!! Florida, Virginia, North Carolina, Texas all go Romney, big time!!! Ohio, Wisconsin, Michigan and...laugh if you will, Pennsylvania all go Romney. Obama will be lucky at best, to carry eight states. Up until the Wisconsin race, I predicted Obama would carry eight to twelve states, but....after the big win for Scott Walker in Wisconsin, I revised my prediction to just eight states for Obama. Plus Obama, himself will help destroy the current Democrat Party. Idiots, them Democrats!!!
Solid lead in VA my a$$!!
Once Ron Paul gets out Mitt will pick up several more points and the undecided will break 75% to Rommney.....zero is in trouble in CO....and they know it!
This Freeper moved last summer from California to Colorado and brought a strong conservative voting record with him. I’m doing my part to change CO from blue to red. CA is a lost cause.
“CO and NV are going to be key as it looks as though 0bama has got a solid lead in Va”
(Encouraging my Colorado contacts to vote for Virgil Goode)

............
That’s what I think. Obama is being so straight up about what democrats believe in their heart of hearts — that he’s destroying the democratic party.
that party has been successful because they have lied about who they are.
Colors have largely lost their meaning. "Red" can mean now more liberal than LBJ.
Colorado needs to show the nation that they have more than 10% of voters who aren't liberal and won't vote only upon the "color" of the uniform, which doesn't offer much real separation.
Fort Morgan, Brush, Sterling.
Grandson Sam was born in Fort Morgan. I even stood in the blessing circle at the local meeting house back in 1998.
In the meantime daughter and family have bolted the religion.
Now she’s the campaign manager for Scott Howell(D/UT) for Senate. Where did I go wrong?

I don’t watch local TV so I can’t say, but there are very few O support signs or stickers here...even on my lib neighbor’s house who were democrat delegates last time ( and might be again). She did take down her “at least the war on the environment is going well” snarky sticker a while back. Must be embarrassing to have all those wars going on in your name.
There are 3 well placed giant anti-obama billboards that the whole town has to read as they drive down the main artery. Even my lib boss mentioned them.
Considering the shellacking the Democrats had in Winsconsin, I find the last three polls showing Romney and Obama in a tied race to be suspect.
