Wanted: A Positive President Who Can Say America Is Once Again Open For Business
IBD Editorials ^ | June 6, 2012 | SEN RON JOHNSON

Posted on 06/06/2012 6:15:40 PM PDT by Kaslin

As a businessperson, I understand how important people's attitudes are in running a successful organization.

People who enjoy their work perform far better than those who view their job as drudgery. A salesman that fully believes in the product or service he is selling, will sell more, and at a higher price.

These positive attitudes make a big difference to the individual "economy" of a business organization.

Positive attitudes are crucial in successfully driving a nation's economy forward as well. Unfortunately, President Obama does not seem to understand that his hostile attitude toward business is undermining America's entrepreneurial spirit, and as a result, economic growth and job creation.

Consumers and business owners/managers need to have confidence in what lies ahead before their economic activity becomes robust. Even in the best of circumstances, planning for the future is inherently fraught with risk and uncertainty.

Government policies should not add to that uncertainty. But that is exactly what is happening because of the dysfunction currently on display in Washington.

Are taxes going to dramatically increase in 2013? Will we ever get our debt and deficits under control? What is the cost and burden of new rules and regulations on job creators? How expensive will energy be in the future?

Until we have leadership in Washington that begins to answer these questions and brings more certainty to our economy, it will continue to stall.

Bishop Romney RUINED Massachusetts AND instituted
RomneyCARE and death panels.

Mr. RomneyCARE also increased TAXES, cleverly
calling them “fees”.

Millions will NOT vote for Mr. RomneyCARE
and his lies. ANd thus the ENTIRE GOP
will lose. And the GOP deserves it if it
take Mr. RomneyCARE as its candidate.

Right on cue with the pessimism.

That nonsense is un-American.

Real Americans want to get back to business.

We choose the best available path forward and then get it done.

Yesterday Romney won 80% on the vote in both CA and NJ, and won three or four other states as well, scooping up hundred more delegates. Nobody else won any.

The primaries are over. Romney is the nominee. Either he or Obama will be sworn in next January.

It is time to can the crazy and get to work. As it was in Wisconsin, so let it be nationwide. We sweep out the ‘Rats and then get down to the serious business of implementing conservative reforms through the GOP.

Quitting is for Frenchmen. Sobbing is for children. Ranting is for leftists.

Americans fight and win.

Hey FRiend,
have you ever noticed that when someone brings
up FACTS about Milt Romney,
YOUR TEAM never responds to the facts?
Conservatives know why. YOU CANNOT.

Well put. I just guess I don’t understand folks whose
dislike of Romney is greater than their dislike of Obama.

We know the road Obama is taking us down and where it
leads and it’s time to put a stop to it.
If Romney takes us down that same road we’ll stop him too,
but let’s at least stop obama now while we still can,
four more years may be too late.

You lie constantly.

You have posted the same garbage hundreds of times and it has been repeatedly rebutted.

Yet you falsely claim otherwise.

You are obsessed, you are utterly dishonest, and you are beyond reason.

There is nothing conservative about any of these qualities.

I understand your frustration. I do.

I was having a discussion with a rather brilliant man a little bit ago about how I was voting Santorum in the Florida primaries.
It came down to one heart stopping sentence that he spoke.
“I want whats best for America.”

He was right.
It is time to put our self serving pride aside and do what is best for America.
And that is voting out Obama - anything else makes you suspect.

Here is the data, RomneyBOT, which shows you are a plant from the DNC..

Do you have any other thing nasty to say to a conservative ... for your Master?

THE REAL DEAL: MITT ROMNEY - PROVEN-BAD GOVERNOR

"As U.S. real output grew 13 percent between 2002 and 2006, Massachusetts trailed at 9 percent.
* Manufacturing employment fell 7 percent nationwide those years, but sank 14 percent under Romney, placing Massachusetts 48th among the states.
* Between fall 2003 and autumn 2006, U.S. job growth averaged 5.4 percent, nearly three times Massachusetts' anemic 1.9 percent pace.
* While 8 million Americans over age 16 found work between 2002 and 2006, the number of employed Massachusetts residents actually declined by 8,500 during those years.
"Massachusetts was the only state to have failed to post any gain in its pool of employed residents," professors Sum and McLaughlin concluded.
In an April 2003 meeting with the Massachusetts congressional delegation in Washington, Romney failed to endorse President Bush's $726 billion tax-cut proposal."

[Cato Institute annual Fiscal Policy Report Card - America's Governors, 2004.]

FACTOID OF THE DAY:

Bad Gov. Romney, in another of his “hit and runs”
managed to even raise taxes on New Hampshire residents
while Gov. of Massachusetts.
Believe it or not.

I’m voting for the one most likely to defeat Obama..

I love America too much to passively allow Obama 4 more years to complete his mission to destroy our country.

Real Americans want to get back to business.

'Real' Christians are sobbing over what our 'rulers' have served up for us to 'vote' against.

Other ‘christians’ are gleeful just to be able to ‘vote’ against Obama.

It's a SPIRITUAL thing.

Ok; but we'll STILL be farther down the road!

I love America too much to passively allow Obama 4 more years to complete his mission to destroy our country.

I love GOD too much to passively allow a known heretic 4 years to fulfull his mission to advance his chosen 'religion'.

...the presidential campaign of Mormon Church founder Joseph Smith in 1844: “Challenging Democrat James Polk and Whig Henry Clay, Smith prophesied that if the U.S. Congress did not accede to his demands that ‘they shall be broken up as a government and God shall damn them.’

Smith viewed capturing the presidency as part of the mission of the church.
