No kidding. I’m getting robbed literally by property taxes, $6700 per year on a 2000 sq ft house on 1.3 acres. No income tax or sales tax here, but property taxes more than make up for those.
How much is the house worth?
Looks to me that you need a “Prop 13” in your state.
Oooo, can I play? Try $5k a year property tax on a 1700sq ft, .19 acre cape cod, 4% income tax, 2% city tax, 1% regional income tax, and a 7.75% sales tax.
