Not familiar with the political landscape of your fine State. Just wondering here...Gov. Walker took Racine County 53-47. Yet Lehman (Democrat) beat the Republican, Wanggaard in the same general are by 51-49. Total of 779 votes last I checked Sec. of State web page.

So, my Q for you or anyone from WI is thus:Does it not seem odd these vote totals are reversed? Just seems strange to me. Perhaps union "influence" did help the Demwit win?

The democrats should’ve taken a lesson from the election, but won’t. They’ll continue to fight a popular & effective governor using the same tired hyperbole & tactics and will lose the senate again in the next election.

So, who’s going to pay attention? Are they going to say anything new that they haven’t already blasted across the entire state for the past 14 months with their $60 million union-financed megaphone?

If they want to relive this unpopular, distasteful and disruptive recall nightmare for the next five months, be my guest.

>>Time to demand a recall election based upon voter fraud.<<

Exactly. I would bet dollars to donuts that’s where the MI buses ended up.

Problem is, is that Dems will set out to make Walker look as if he ran on one thing, but went for another thing once he and the GOP took power, attempting to make him look like an uber liar.

What do you think they've been doing since February 2011? Last night, WI voters showed they're not stupid enough to buy that BS.

Check out LaCrosse county too.

I can find no reason why this county would flip, except that perhaps it’s where the Chicago buses ended up.

Answer below that I received from CG on this site when I asked basically the same questions. All the areas were in at 99% very quickly, but the Racine area held at 22% for hours at a time. then all of a sudden everything came in.

“What you saw was an election being stolen. When certain areas withhold vote counts they are waiting for the more republican areas to report so they know how many votes they need to manufacture. It was obvious very early on in the evening that is what they were going to do. And then there was the “power outage”. Remember the mysterious power outrage during Harry Reid’s election?

This withholding of ballot counts is a well-known method of cheating. This was their plan B. They lost the governorship but they were going to take control of the senate as a consolation prize.

If the repubs let this stand they are bigger fools than I thought they were. They should have had boots on the ground down there watching for this type of nonsense.”

I agree. They will continue to whine and complain. They do not yet understand the people are sick of them and their rhetoric.

The GOP taking it to the Rats on this would fire up the whole country nearly as much as the Walker win.
People are tired of this Rat crap every election.

so.. in district 21 85,671 total votes were cast for goverenor, with Walker(r) getting 5,000 more...

but only 71,731 votes were cast for state senator? and Lehman (D) got 750 more?

How do 11,000 walker supporters forget to vote for senator?

Van Wanggard wasn’t a strong incumbent and Racine is a wobbly district. With Walker in position and R control of the House, this has very limited importance. Walker will play rope-a-dope with the Senate fleebaggers, but he won’t give ‘em anything. It will actually be good for him because he’ll be able to show “reaching across” and all that rot, while nothing will change. WI really doesn’t need a lot in the way of new legislation (other than voter ID), they need time for Walkers reforms to continue to work and for his base of support to grow even stronger.

My understanding is that the legislature is out of session until after the next election. Redistricting is suppose to give the GOP a two seat advantage. The Dems can reconvene the Senate and make noise, but after the last 15 months does anyone think it will make a difference.

The State just voted to uphold the collective bargaining changes. That deal is done and will not be revisited unless the Dems can win the governorship back and the legislature.

And be ready for battle. Remember the poll watcher in Philly that reported the voting machines having votes on them before the polls opened and wouldn't let the polls be opened until the machines were cleared.

When his shift ended he was followed out to the parking lot by a group of union thugs. That's the last I heard of him.
