Obama campaign: 'Strong message' sent to Walker (barf alert!!)

The Obama campaign — which has largely kept President Obama himself out of the Wisconsin recall election — puts out a statement saying that a message had been sent to Gov. Scott Walker, despite his win.

"While tonight’s outcome was not what we had hoped for – no one can dispute the strong message sent to Governor Walker. Hundreds of thousands of Wisconsinites from all walks of life took a stand against the politics of division and against the flood of secret and corporate money spent on behalf of Scott Walker, which amounted to a massive spending gap of more than $31 million to $4 million," Tripp Wellde, campaign state director, said in a statement.

"It is a testament to all of those individuals who talked to their friends, neighbors, and colleagues about the stakes in this election of how close this contest was. The power of Wisconsin’s progressive, grassroots tradition was clearly on display throughout the run up to this election and we will continue to work together to ensure a brighter future for Wisconsin’s middle class," Wellde said.

The money line is a lie. WSJ reported that over $60 million in total was spent. So the Union spent around $30 million themselves.

Walker increased his voter count over 2010, and somehow this is spun as a negative for Walker?

Apparently, Obama is using drugs again. Nothing else can explain his remarks.

This is what the fools think about the secret service and us...

*” Clinton all over again” - hates the military and looks down on the Secret Service. He is egotistical and cunning; looks you in the eye and appears to agree with you, but turns around and does the opposite-—untrustworthy. He has temper tantrums..

She hates anybody who is not black..hates the military; and looks at the Secret Service as servants.A taxpayer voting for Obama is like a chicken voting for Col. Sanders.

Given that he beat Barrett even more soundly than he did in 2010, I’d guess the strong message sent to Walker is “Keep up the good work!”

no one can dispute the strong message sent to Governor Walker.

Indeed! And the message is "Damn the torpedoes! Full steam ahead!"

I hope all the other Republican governors are listening.

So, these Democrats are saying that people took a stand and all that? So, they are happy just to have staged the recall in the first place, regardless of the result?

Are we to believe that these liberals are NOT upset at the results?

Are we to believe that Scott Walker feels chastised because of the recall election, even though he won? Really??

Who came up with this line of reasoning? Is somebody working overtime, to spin the results as somehow a victory for “the people” against special interests?? How do they come to their conclusions???

“While tonight’s outcome was not what we had hoped for – no one can dispute the strong message sent to Governor Walker.

Yeah but not the message you delusional idiots think!
The message sent to Walker and the Obama administration and the GOP is that when you make a stand on principles and have a spine to fight back when attacked, you win.
Obama and his lap dogs can spin this till the cows come home. The truth is this was a major lose for Obama, Democrats, Unions and the idea that we can spend our great grand children into a thousand years of debt

Allow me to correct this in context of the 2010 election:

"While tonight’s outcome was not what we had hoped for – no one can dispute the strong message sent to Governor Walker Barack Hussein Obama. Hundreds of thousands MILLIONS of Wisconsinites Americans from all walks of life took a stand against the politics of division and against the flood of secret and corporate money spent on behalf of Scott Walker Barack Hussein Obama and Progressive Democrats everywhere, which amounted to a massive spending budget gap of more than $31 million to $4 million," $1.5 Trillion," Tripp Wellde, campaign state director, John Boehner, Incoming House Speaker said in a statement.

The parallels are interesting, aren't they? Tone Deafness, Obama has it.

One of the reforms Walker and legislature passed was a strong Voter ID law. Yesterday was the last election under the old law. Now to get the same passed in Minnesota.
