Social Security checks are bad enough.

That’s where I have to disagree with you. I worked as a small businessman for my final 18y of work after working 20 years for a company. On average I’d have to pay 10-12k per year into my social security fund. Over and above income taxes. That social security is my money 100% of it! I’d be happy to get back what’s in my “account” with zero interest, but please don’t insinuate that I’m getting something for free.

Most people who rant that Social Security is a free ride, forget that the Social Security fund was raided to pay for yesterdays and today's political solutions that they benefited from, instead of being left as a retirement fund for the future.

The very ones who complain about the free ride, rode Social Security into the ground for free! Let them pay back all the monies taken for their darling political projects to protect green frogs or study sexual habits of Chinese hookers, then Social Security will have plenty for the people that deposited into it their entire lives.

Social Security should be paid out EQUAL TO what one has paid into it and no more. Unfortunately, that’s not how it works.. Social Security checks are issued to people who never even worked a day in their life. The system is idiotic and with people living longer, most people receive over TWICE what they ever paid into it. This system cannot and will not sustain itself.

The Supreams have already ruled that Social Security is nothign but a payroll TAX nothing more nothing less, the also have ruled that no individual is entited to the money they put in. There is no lock box or account with anyones name on it. The court has ruled that no individual has the right to any funds they put in as the funds were simple a payroll tax. If you get benefits it is at the rates in the current valid social security act passed by congress, who could just as easily pass an act ending the program and stopping the payments. The court has ruled that any money put in the system was a payroll tax to the system and individuals have no standing to compulsory compensation from said system for any funds contributed. Do you get back the money you put in income tax above the refund rates set by the congress? No of course not why is it so hard to understand that SS is and always was and will be a PAYROLL TAX and nothing else. The lies that have been feed to this country are now self perpetuating but a simple search of Supream court ruling will show you me nor anyone else has legal standing to a single cent we “contributed” via the payroll tax systems.
