I’m sure Democrats were equally confident that Wisconsin voters would choose Russ Feingold over Ron Johnson in 2010 just like they were confident that Barret would defeat Walker in this recall election. but they were wrong both times. If their confidence isn’t shaken, it’s because they’re too stupid to read the writing on the wall.

Exactly.
And if Obama was supposedly so beloved there, he would have gone out to WI.

"Despite Scott Walkers Win, Obama Outpolls Romney In Wisconsin" So sayeth the uber lib Washington Post.
Suck it, libs. Your boy king is going down hard in November, and he's gonna take a boatload of his fellow travelers with him.

Baghdad Bob Axelrod would like this to be the takeaway, but the facts are that Walker just destroyed the liberals and Romney will LIKELY win Wisconsin in November.
It is GOOD to be a Republican tonight!!

Maybe Obama’s advisors managed to get Barack to understand that wherever he goes to stump for a local cause it’s the kiss of death, so why bother.

Apparently there's a few folks working at the Post who still believe they can make things happen just by saying so...it's really entertaining. Wake me up when they're sold for a dollar.

Horse manure.
Chalk this Obama nonsense up to the “Bradley-Wilder effect”.
Walker and the rest of the recall targets all won in a freaking landslide, and Wisconsin is now a red state.
To: Steelfish
While the totals have Walker ahead significantly, exit polls suggest he did it with a healthy dose of support from voters who are leaning toward President Obama in the fall. Who on earth would have (a) bothered to turn out for this election and (b) voted for Scott Walker and yet (c) believes in Obama?
