STOCKTON (CBS13) A 20-year-old Stockton man had to undergo emergency surgery Monday after he accidentally shot himself in the leg.
The man was found in the parking lot of a store in the 2400 block of E. Main Street in Stockton with a wound to his upper-thigh. The weapon was a crudely made 12-gauge zip gun.
Police say the incident happened while the man was allegedly trying to hide the gun in his pants.
I hope he’s still got his six shooter.
Good thing it was a shotgun and not a pistol or he might me missing his manhood.
...or are you happy to see me?
“I hope hes still got his six shooter.”
You must be kidding! This guy needs to be prevented from reproducing.
That’s funny! I doubt this guy gets a purple heart.
Parking lot of a store, eh?
Gee, wonder what he had in mind? /sarcasm
Whatever it was, it’s clear he couldn’t keep it in his pants.
Building a homemade shotgun is simple. Building a safety for such a gun when loaded and cocked is not so simple. This dude appears to have taken too many shortcuts.
There are NO accidents.
Be respectful of evolution at work.
;-)
Gonna be hard to pull off an armed robbery in a wheelchair
Probably qualify for workmans comp
He can only rob stores located at the top of a hill.
need a web site “The People of Stockton”
This is a true story from where I grew up. About twenty years ago....some idiot who took high school and community college “metal arts” (machine shop skills)....had this idea of making his own silencer for a pistol. He’d read up on this and thought that he could do it with equipment he’d picked up at yard sales for the garage.
So he designed and built this silencer. He attached it to the pistol...discovering that it wasn’t entirely tight on the gun. There was this slight wobble even when fully attached. So he held the pistol with one hand and the silencer with the second hand. He fired. The silencer flew off the gun and he shot a finger off in the process.
He grabbed the finger, and got someone to take him to the county hospital where they did successfully re-attach the finger.
Several months later, after all the treatment, he returned to the garage. He looked at his silencer, and then redesigned it. He rebuilt version two. There was no wobble and for some reason, for the final test....he held the silencer in the same hand formation as before. He shot the finger off a second time.
Yep. I can’t even make this up. The hospital couldn’t believe that he had returned with the same issue.
LOL.... I thought I was.
Few pistols compare in power/ close range destructive capability to a twelve gauge round.
But, regardless the caliber, a pistol fired into your manhood can be somewhat devastating. A whole lot more devastating then a shotgun wound to the leg. Just say’n
“I hope hes still got his six shooter.”
He may have traded it in for a derringer;)
