Lasorda was a great manager and a colorful one.

Who will be the first to leave Dodger Stadium for the last time? Lasorda or Vin Scully?

God bless Tom Lasorda and prayers for his speedy recovery.

He’s the godfather of Tiger’s catcher Alex Avila. Apparently a close friend of Jim Leyland as well. I saw some video a week or so back of Lasorda and Leyland talking about golf. Lasorda was demonstrating a golf swing with a baseball bat.

90% of the game is mental; the other half is physical.

I loved Lasorda. He could give Yogi Berra a run for his money. In the recent past, Lasorda introduced the ‘Los Angeles Philharmonica’ one evening at the Hollywood Bowl. My husband and I still chuckle whenever we hear the word ‘philharmonic’. Prayers for Lasorda’s recovery.

Lord knows he caused more than a few heart attacks himself among Dodger fans back in the 80s. (What ever happened to Charlie Hough anyway?)

Used to have Padres tix, 4th row behind the Home Team dugout. You could NOT take kids to games when the Codgers were in town... that man could cuss a Sailor down to size. Wow! :)

As a ATL Braves fan I cussed Lasorda through the TV set more than once, but hope that he gets better.
Even though he is a bug-eyed b@stard

I’m a Giants fan and Lasorda is the only Dodger I’ve ever liked. God speed his recovery.

My favorite Lasorda quote:
"For starting pitchers we have two Dominicans, one Italian, one Mexican and one Japanese. In the bullpen we have a Venezuelan, a Mexican, a guy from the United States and a guy from St. Louis."
God bless him.
