Former President Bill Clinton mocked Rep. Allen West (R-FL) at a fundraising event for President Barack Obama on Monday night. Clinton mocked West’s claim that House Democrats were communists – he said that “this isn’t the 1950s” and “no one has seen a communist in over a decade.”
Clinton praised the work that Obama has accomplished in his first term in office and said that he’s had to accomplish the reforms he has instituted amid significant adversity. “He’s had to get all this done while people as recently as last week were still saying he wasn’t born in America,” said Clinton.
Clinton continued by targeting House Republicans, singling out Rep. West who he described as one of the “tea party members.” Clinton became animated when he highlighted Rep. West’s comments where he implied that the House Progressive Caucus were communists.
“This is not the 1950s,” said Clinton. “At least Joe McCarthy could skate on the fact that there was one or two living communists walking around. Nobody’s seen a communist in over a decade.”
Clinton concluded saying that “no criticism [of President Obama by Republicans] was too vicious and too fact-free.”

The mission of this small program was to examine and exploit Soviet diplomatic communications but after the program began, the message traffic included espionage efforts as well.
Although it took almost two years before American cryptologists were able to break the KGB encryption, the information gained through these transactions provided U.S. leadership insight into Soviet intentions and treasonous activities of government employees until the program was canceled in 1980.
The VENONA files are most famous for exposing Julius (code named LIBERAL) and Ethel Rosenberg and help give indisputable evidence of their involvement with the Soviet spy ring.
The first of six public releases of translated VENONA messages was made in July 1995 and included 49 messages about the Soviets' efforts to gain information on the U.S. atomic bomb research and the Manhattan Project. Over the course of five more releases, all of the approximately 3,000 VENONA translations were made public.

When the DEMOCRATIC SOCIALISTS OF AMERICA PAC lists the seventy some odd members that are currently holding office IN CONGRESS and Rep. Allen West points out that fact, the screeching from you and the "progressive liberals" (communists) proclaims West's statement as "stupid and dissociated from reality," "trying to make it in the press with comments that don’t even make sense" and Allen West is "an ignorant, mean guy."
Yeah, that load of crap from the communist agenda donks is supposed to convince me that they are not communists?

That's one thing about a natural con man like Slick Willie: he's astute enough to know that he can't simply bullroar his way past the Communist theat. Slick Willy, despite his obvious faults, can't get up the gumption to say "never never never" and blind himself. He knows that he can't be Slick unless he barely acknowledges the truth.
In this sense, he's better than his wifey-wife.

That's true. Hillary has always disdained the games of politics and would like to get straight to the executions and mass roundups. Bill would be happy if he could just have Lt. Col. West get him some coffee.

I believe many progressives are just one step away from communism. All they need is an excuse and an opportunity.
Also, I think he’s married to one.
(I was gonna say he kisses one ‘Good Morning’ but I doubt the Clintons have slept in the same bed in a long, long time. I’m not trying to be mean; I really do doubt it. I think Hillary tired of the “Love Master” years ago and has decided to stick with box lunches from now on.)
Clinton isn’t a moron but he is convinced we are. It’s like an article about the Argentine oil seizure. The article actually said the the nationalization was not socialism per se because the government has appointed a CEO and Board of Directors to replace the Spaniards. Now didn’t we do something similar which we are told isn’t socialism? GM springs to mind.
