You'd think a newspaper person in Omaha would know it's Offutt Air Force Base.

Chalk another one up to "modern journalism".

Is the opinion of those there now that the whole thing was a hoax?

Sounds like he was just trying to get Offutt.

When I was in the force many a time I flushed twice as it was a long way there.
