Mark Levin: We’re gonna have to work really really hard to drag Romney to the right
Right Scoop ^ | Monday June 4, 2012

Posted on 06/04/2012 4:54:32 PM PDT by Bigtigermike

Mark Levin is now insisting that Romney reveal his plans on how he wants to replace Obamacare and fix the other entitlement programs like Social Security, Medicare, etc. He understand that there may be strategic reasons for keeping it quiet, but considering the fact that Romney is making some very liberal appointments to his team including his transition team appointment Mike Leavitt, a guy who has been pushing for health care exchanges in the states, Levin feels its high time for Romney to explain to the American people what we should expect from a Romney presidency in terms of repealing/replacing Obamacare and reforming these other entitlement programs.

Levin adds that we’re going to have to work really hard to get Romney elected, and given the decisions he’s making now it looks like once he’s elected we’re going to have to “work really, really hard to drag his ass to the right”:

Sadly all the real conservatives either had to drop out because they went broke or were driven out. We are STUCK with Romney, whom I cannot stand.

This was the deck of cards we were given.

If mittens see an advantage in either direction, right of Reagan or left of the marxist messiah, he’ll go balls to the wall to whichever he perceives is profitable to him.

Since we’re stuck with the POS, we’d best plan for the inevitable betrayal.

There won’t be any dragging, at best maybe he can be roadblocked or spike stripped to slow him down when he decides to go full on Karl Marx.

I doubt anyone can drag Romney to the right. I believe he lacks foundational, core conservative beliefs.

The big question I have is this, what will happend later in the month when the USSC decides on this mess of a law? Could this help or hurt Romney?

The only thing that's going to change is a different set of cronies are going to move to the preferred spots at the big government feeding trough.

As average Americans, we are nothing to either of these candidates.

RomneyCARE may be YOUR personal diety, but he is a lying
backstabber who cannot be trusted.

We will NOT vote for Romney, and the GOP will suffer.

America is better off with Obama who will be impeached
than RomneyCARE who will deliver the same (as he has
done in the past over and over).

Want proof?

ROMNEYCARE IGNORES CONSTITUTIONS (like when he
imposed gay marriage).

ROMNEYCARE IMPOSES SOCIALIZED MEDICINE

ROMNEYCARE COVERS UP CORRUPTION

ROMNEYCARE IS A PROVEN BAD GOVERNOR

So get up off your knees, already.
RomneyCARE is not the candidate as yet.

Or, vote, as a majority, for Virgil Goode of the Constitution Party, and put a true end to the ongoing “voting for the lesser of two evils” funk! Bring back true conservatism, asap, by, always, voting for the most conservative candidates, at each and every political level and during each and every election.

It makes no difference, Romney has his own health care program in mind which will eventually get us to the same place as Obamacre.

And Congressional Republicans will be lining up to support it.

I have no love for Romneycare and I hope the upcoming Supreme Court ruling on Obamacare will by extention help fade Romneycare into history.

I've got a better idea.

Vote Conservatives to Congress to stop STATISTS who champion government health care; abortion on demand; activist judges; the whole gay agenda with gay couples allowed to adopt children and gay "acceptance" forced on everything from your kids' schools to the military; and the full press of environmentalist cap and trade to regulate energy and food production.

Lord, before November, please give ABO folks the gumption to face facts: Romney and Obama both have demonstrated records of advancing all five of those things. Not being neutral, but ADVANCING them. Lord let ABOers realize they'd be voting for statism either way, regardless of their intentions -- AMEN!

Screw Romney and the donkey he rode in on. Vote independent, official third party, if only to make sure that those Conservatives in Congress have a weak enemy. Whichever statist becomes president, Obama or Romney, starts off as a loser because he only won with 38% of the vote. About 62% of Americans either voted for his opponent or rejected liberalism altogether by voting third party.

Toss the dice as to which wins, O v R, as your vote will hold no sway in that context, but imagine the fear of GOD paralyzing the guts of Republican moderates, including the manipulative GOP Elite, if Romney LOST. Conversely, imagine newly-elected conservatives in Congress having to battle and fight not just liberal Democrats, but also Romney and Repubican moderates who share his "progressive" vision of rolling with cap-and-trade, nationalized health care, etc.

From a conservative point of view, the ONLY sensible strategy is to vote so that whichever one is president, enters office as weak and powerfully opposed as possible in order to help the conservatives we elected to Congress.

“But sadly, there are NO conservative alternatives out there. We are stuck between the frying pan and the fire.”

WRONG ! ! !

There are plenty of conservatives, but when the RINO Party and its membership allows the Enemedia to select the candidates, we get communism under a different name.

PS Delegates actually can vote their mind - if they had one, that is!

Romney is a liberal at heart. There is no way around that fact, so I do NOT believe he can be pulled to the right.
