I’m not disputing a single word because I have high respect for the guys at Powerline, but I know Bill Pascrell quite well. I’ve attended many Fordham hoop and football games with Bill going back 25-30 years. He always been a good guy with a good sense of humor and a strong loyalty to the Rams. He was Mayor of Paterson in those days and was known for getting the local board of Ed. to hire Joe Clark. Politics and the desire to maintain one’s public office can lead people to do odious things. It will be hard to see Bill this Fall with this Powerline story.

Joe Clark was hired years before Pascrell became mayor. He has a pro-abortion record in congress while his predecessor, Bob Roe, a democrat as well, had a 100% pro-life record for the 30 yrs. he was in congress. He is in a district where he can't lose, is a Catholic and still votes pro-abortion.
