One of the few Republicans in the country who's been tirelessly pushing for the implementation of Obamacare at the state level has been tapped to head Mitt Romney's transition team, should he become president.
Former HHS Secretary Michael Leavitt, and his consulting group Leavitt Partners, are the primary advocates within Republican circles for implementation of Obamacare's exchanges. It just so happens that his consultancy is one of the major beneficiaries of the taxpayer funded gold mine of hundreds of millions of dollars in exchange implementation grants. But that's a coincidence, of course.

Another thing that Romney will have to do to keep from being DUMPED in Tampa is to fire his new appointee, Michael Leavitt, to head his transition team, and replace him with someone who wants to REPEAL AND ABOLISH Obama/Romneycare FOREVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I keep asking and I keep not getting an answer:
How is Romney so much better than Obama???
Well, not as a Romney supporter, about all I can think of is:
Unlike Obama, he's not an America-hating, Communist, moslem, illegal alien fudgepacker.
Agreed, but how will his policies differ and correct the course America is now on? Social and economic. I can’t find much difference.
I don't think anyone really believes that Romney opposes Obamacare since the whole thing is basically his idea. I can't help but think, though, that he will want to tweak it just enough so that he can respectfully ask the public to begin calling it Romneycare rather than Obamacare. Romney will want the recognition as an important part of his legacy. And, given the history involved, Romney really does deserve more credit than Obama for what they both want to implement.
“Talking about politics as usual, Romney would be well-advised to lose this clown. This abominable legislation needs to be repealed in toto.”
The above quote is mine, from the initial posting; but, I get the impression you think I’m a big Romney fan, and I am in the sense that he’s not Obama. Otherwise, he would have been my last choice behind almost any of the others who sought the nomination. I do think Romney is a loyal American, Obama’s not IMHO. Romney says he will repeal Obamacare in toto, that supports my quote above. I hope this gives you some peace of mind, and, FWIW, I love Sarah, too; but, she declined to run, unfortunately.
He is the Victor Victoria of Republican noms. He is really a conservative pretending to be a flaming liberal pretending to be conservative.
Ask Karl Rove and Charles Krauthammer (or anyone on Fox News really) they apparently have it all figured out
Obama/RomneyCare has been the goal of the RinoCracy for decades. The only way that monstrosity goes away is when We the People go and rip it out by the roots.
I guess this is what Bachman was talking about all along. Egad - how could he pick THAT guy ?
I think Romney loves America but I think he loves money first. I’m fine with that - it’s his money to love. But he also made sure he got a deferment from the draft. Again, nothing wrong with not wanting to go to Viet Nam. Lots of guys didn’t. But I don’t see him as a flag-waving, American patriot. And his father was born in Mexico. Gee, where did I hear the argument about eligibility for president before because of where your daddy was born?
Not only “it”; but, the people who put it in place, they need to be strung up.
Well, for starters, he has vowed repeatedly to kill ObamaCare on day one.
Then there's the Keystone Pipeline and domestic drilling, nuclear, opposes Cap and Trade, wants American energy independence.
Given just those positions and a TEApublican Congress, how bad could it be?
And if he isn't good enough after four years...Paul Ryan/Palin

Energy plan shows Romney’s changing views
“Some of Romney’s current positions appear to be at odds with his views when he was Massachusetts governor.”

Interesting article. I guess Romney’s views on energy are “evolving”. He is just another politician who talks out of both sides of his mouth. Yet I suppose he will be better than Obama.
Romney is severely conservative.
Well, wearing the Republican label, he did manage to get himself elected governor of the lib-tard state that gave us the likes of the Kennedys, Barney Frank and Lie-awatha.
Now he's running with a much more conservative electorate.
But yes, he is a "politician who talks out of both sides of his mouth"...and, he is the likely nominee.
Then I guess Obama was correct to impose ACA on the world, because Romney doesnt think it should all be repealed, just repeal and replace, in name only.
Are you less dead if they use a sharper sword to behead you?
We already know more about Romney than we need to know to make a decision, and if this doesnt bring some decent to the ranks in Florida, then why bother?
Repeal and replace with what? The man is not trustworthy, look at his closest staff, the power broker pick was a direct insult to Palin and any supports she has/had. He keeps revealing himself, but we keep trying to rationalize every shortcoming. There is nothing rational about our choices this November.
I can't wait for the balloons to fall at the convention. Wheeee!!!!!
Given this, ANYONE who believes Mr. RomneyCARE is a fool or ill.
