“Talking about politics as usual, Romney would be well-advised to lose this clown. This abominable legislation needs to be repealed in toto.”
The above quote is mine, from the initial posting; but, I get the impression you think I’m a big Romney fan, and I am in the sense that he’s not Obama. Otherwise, he would have been my last choice behind almost any of the others who sought the nomination. I do think Romney is a loyal American, Obama’s not IMHO. Romney says he will repeal Obamacare in toto, that supports my quote above. I hope this gives you some peace of mind, and, FWIW, I love Sarah, too; but, she declined to run, unfortunately.
I think Romney loves America but I think he loves money first. I’m fine with that - it’s his money to love. But he also made sure he got a deferment from the draft. Again, nothing wrong with not wanting to go to Viet Nam. Lots of guys didn’t. But I don’t see him as a flag-waving, American patriot. And his father was born in Mexico. Gee, where did I hear the argument about eligibility for president before because of where your daddy was born?
Then I guess Obama was correct to impose ACA on the world, because Romney doesnt think it should all be repealed, just repeal and replace, in name only.
Are you less dead if they use a sharper sword to behead you?
We already know more about Romney than we need to know to make a decision, and if this doesnt bring some decent to the ranks in Florida, then why bother?
I don’t want to hire a ‘loyal American’ as President. I want to vote for someone who believes in and will restore the founding principles and documents that established our liberties in the first place. I know socialists who are ‘loyal Americans’. As every day passes it feels like switching from Obama to Romney will be like changing horses and then going in the same direction.
