To: Sea Parrot

I remember at the time I knew it was easy to make the French round from 6.5X55 but I didn’t want to use up any of my Swedish Mauser brass either.

I did not know about the .308 brass. Anyway I never got one and they are not common now.

Know what you mean, even the Swede brass could be hard to come by back then. I have a almost like new Husky Model-38 6.5x55mm Swede which is sure a sweet shooter. It was made in 1942, but as Sweden was a neutral country in WW2, they maintained a very high standard for production of the rifles. Photobucket Photobucket
