Fulghum said the name and exact age of the victim isn't known, but he's likely a teenager. He said the victim's body showed obvious signs of trauma.

It's unclear if the boys knew the victim, and Fulghum said the investigation is still in its early stages.

"Part of what we're looking at is weapon, what took place, why it happened, who all is involved," he said. "We haven't identified our victim so we have a long way to go."

the boys' mother drove to a police substation and told police she arrived home at 847 E. 52nd Street at about 2 p.m. Friday and found a man's body inside her house. She said her two teenage sons were standing over the body in their home when she arrived.

Jeez, I just hate it when that happens. I mean, you come home, and your kids have killed someone else.
