When you willingly live on a tiny island with millions of people, this is the kind of crap you get. After 9/11, when Giuliani said something like “We’re all New Yorkers today”, I thought, “I’m not and never will be a New Yorker.” because I would never submit to their lifestyle.
He can pass whatever he wants in NYC, but when they bring that law to the south, I think the south will finally rise again! We like our big drinks down here.

I thought that too until I experienced Manhattan and did a lot of reading about the history - especially lower Manhattan.
