Gov. Rick Perry is once again slamming out-of-state interest groups backing former solicitor general Ted Cruz in his runoff with Lt. Gov. David Dewhurst this time tweaking Sarah Palin, U.S. Sen. Jim DeMint and Rick Santorum by suggesting their states could learn a lot from Texas, but Texas doesnt need their advice on choosing its next U.S. senator.
Perry, standing staunchly behind Dewhurst, brushed off the question about whether his own tea party credibility may be damaged by his opposition to Cruz, who has been endorsed by national conservative and tea party groups and figures (including Palin, DeMint and Santorum) in the runoff for the GOP nomination for U.S. Senate.
[...]
Without naming Palin, DeMint or Santorum, Perry called them to mind by naming their states: I appreciate everybody paying attention to Texas as well they should, they could learn some things on how to run South Carolina and Pennsylvania and Alaska.
Come to Texas and learn how to do it right, but dont come down here and tell us who needs to be our next United States senator, thank you very much. Well decide that without your outside, Washington, D.C.-oriented help, Perry said.

Jim, you’d better take a look at this. Altura is the apparent author of these attacks on you (POST-Amnesty) on the anti-FReeper site.
I was kind of surprised to receive a few 'invitations', from folks posting at FR, to join other sites after Jim told me to knock it off. I guess that in the end, some just don't know why we are loayal Freepers even in duress. And many belong to sites other than FR while still being loyal Freepers.
I was invited to actively participate in one of those anti-FR websites, but it seemed to be chock full of the “problem people” whose former presence on FR were responsible for endless flamewars, trolling, disingenuous behavior and pimping for execrable candidates. Why on earth would I want to participate in a forum with that ?
Did you see that Paul voted against the ban on sex selection abortions.?
I voted to make sure Paul never had a claim on the nomination. He,d get us all killed, not just the girl fetuses.
It’s amazing that there are FReepers who still seem happier to bash Perry than Romney.
Consider for a moment, if you can possibly grasp such a notion, that we Conservatives don’t want either Paul, Perry OR Willard ?
There is one thing common among those at the anti-FR/Jim site and that is a seething hatred. They hate FR, they hate many here and they hate Jim. altroll is one of them and is just waiting to get the zot so she can brag about it as many there have. I think she's entertaining so I hope she stays around. I've laughed more this thread than I have in days.
As for participating in that forum...don't bother. It's nothing more than a few malcontents (mostly PerryBots) who blame everyone else because they didn't get their way. Oh, and they love Romney! It's sad, really.
I love to bash Romeny. But this is a Perry thread. Surely even you can understand that.
Bleh, RINO rabble.
Forgot to ping you to this... the Willardbots are trotting out the “old stuff” tonight...

I voted for paul just to poke romney in the eye and deny him the nomination
didnt happen
Whatch’er poison?
“None of the above.”
I support the cure: Scott Walker.
I support Scott Walker and I have Family in Wi.
I support Ted Cruz and I am the vote here in Texas
I support John Kasich, and I have family there.
Sounds fine to me. I meant that after Gov. Walker beats the recall by the ultraleft thugocracy on Tuesday, he should be drafted for President and nominated in Tampa. Dump the execrable Socialist fraud Willard.
Well, we have an opportunity here to open a well spring.
It would be effective to launch a large march on Tampa. The only problem is that those responsible citizens whom we’d need have that nasty habit of having to work for a living. Yet the trust-fund lefty scum can organize their little Stalinist shindigs and crap-on-copcar fests on a dime.
Organization has been ridiculous.
Half our problem is that people wont fight the game afoot let alone get organized.
We must defeat Obama and his lackeys
BTW a march on Tampa is futile.
Delegates are what counts.
What are we? OWSeys?
