Apparently, as with so many other things, some people who hold the Presidency have class and some dont. To all appearances, former President George W. Bush is the former, and current President Barack Obama is the latter, at least if this afternoons unveiling of former President Bushs Presidential portrait is any guide.
This event which is, at least in theory, supposed to be free of partisan sniping, got an earful of just that when President Obama gave his introductory remarks welcoming Bush:
President Obama on Thursday twisted the knife hed stuck in his predecessors legacy, reminding former President George W. Bush that he left the economy a mess and al Qaeda mastermind Osama bin Laden alive when he left the White House three years ago.
The months before I took the oath of office were a chaotic time, Obama told a crowd of mostly former Bush administration officials and members of the Bush family, including Bushs parents, former President George H.W. Bush and former first lady Barbara Bush.[...]
We knew our economy was in trouble, our fellow Americans were in pain, but we wouldnt know until later just how breathtaking the financial crisis had been, Obama continued, raising some eyebrows among the Bush crowd seated just a few feet away.

Seriously, I’d go up against the Italian Mafia or the Russian Mob before I went up against the Bush, Rockefeller or Kissinger folks. I guess no one ever explained that to Barry or his 20-something speechwriters. BTW, can you put an insurance policy on someone else?
Not satire - I watched it. The current President showed his backside.
BO is in deep doo doo and he doesn’t realize it yet.
Now you gone an' done it, skinny turd burglar..
“Theres something going on there, between those two, Michelle and BO.”
The thrill is gone. Or, perhaps no more vacations until after the election!
BTW, can you put an insurance policy on someone else?
No satire - those are direct quotes as reported in the Washington Examiner (link in The Blaze article).
You probably don’t follow the Ulsterman Report, with the White House Insider interviews he publishes regularly, but I do. The Insider said on certain levels Barack hates both Valerie and Michele, however, even Michelle defers to Valerie. (It’s a Valerie presidency.) For months the Insider reports that he is hearing that Michelle is miserable.
The volcanic erruptions occur, just not in public.
Yep...already checked it out. I..am..too...darn...mad.
See post 16.
LOL! THAT is probably hammer hitting nail! Very probable too, that they cool it on the millions for Michelle’s incidental exotic travels.
"It is my privilege to introduce the greatest first lady ever," he said, then paused to acknowledge his mother. "Sorry, Mom," he quipped.
Gee, I hope you’re both right. Payback by the Bush’s must be very subtle and a sophisticated operation, because you never hear a word uttered of them ever ending careers of enemies, banishing a soul. They are seen just floating through all things in gauzey graciousness. Now Barbara. SHE might be more than willing to take a switch to someone’s netheregion.
BHO would last about 5 sec against Chewy.
Whither Al Gore?
You think? I thought Gore a walking implosion quite on his own, after the SC engaged their brain and common law. Maybe I missed the Bush turn key ops on that one. Interesting.
Satan in him, can’t help it. He’s pride itself.

Who did not see this coming? It was virtually guaranteed Obama would find a way to insult Bush at the unveiling of his portrait. The only question was, how would he do it?
Obama is the slimiest prez we have ever had, and hopefully will ever have. I have no doubt that he informed his partners in crime of the insult he would deliver so they could snicker and laugh when it occurred. Classic Leftists, no morals, no ethics, no class, no soul, just darkness. Ugh.
41 was CIA before there was a CIA. He, his father and his son are all Skull & Bones, the most select, blue-blooded and exclusive fraternity in North America. It makes the eating clubs at Harvard and Princeton look like Kiwanis.
neither does his wife.”
Barbara used to come to my grandson’s school years ago every other month and was their “story lady”. That is one lady that never minces words but she does choose her time and place. She is the best I have ever seen when completing any standard southern statement that begins with “Well, bless her heart....”
