The coordinated leftist attempt to destroy the American Legislative Exchange Council (ALEC) over ALECs support for voter ID and stand your ground laws reached a new low today when Walmart, the biggest retailer in America, suspended its membership in the group. Liberal groups like Media Matters for America and its close associate, the Van Jones-run Color of Change, working in coordination with friends of the Obama Administration, launched secondary boycotts against members in ALEC this year; several major ALEC sponsors have already dropped out, prompting ALEC to announce in April that it was no longer going to focus on public safety and elections, and would instead direct its energies toward the economy.
Previously, we expressed our concerns about ALECs decision to weigh in on issues that stray from its core mission to advance the Jeffersonian principles of free markets, explained Walmart Vice President Maggie Sans. We feel that the divide between these activities and our purpose as a business has become too wide. To that end, we are suspending our membership in ALEC. Sans was the secretary of ALECs private enterprise board.

Call or email Wal Mart and tell them that you are suspending the spending of all money in their establishment if they follow through with this idiocy.
We need to find out who funds Color of Change and see how the like the shoe being on the other foot....

I wonder how Sam would react?
What the vp may not realize is that Jones and those of his low ilk won’t stop with WalMart. They still don’t have a closed shop, and remain on the leftist boycott list.
Jones would never shop at walmart. Walmart caved to a bunch of people that would NEVER shop there while upsetting those that do.
Won’t spend a dime there from now on.
I only do business with companies that respect my Constitutional and God given rights.
Wallmart has sold out to the idiots. They can go pound sand.
Why is it only the left wing that can run successful boycotts? Personally, I’m sick and tired of leftists running this country.
Stand-your-ground wouldn’t have a whole lot to do with free markets, but voter ID would. Because that’s about keeping the clowns who want to hobble markets from cheating the election system and gaining ascendancy.
Sorry, Van, but ALEC has a right to support what it wants to. Free speech for me but not for thee is historically typical of leftists, like Mr. Communist Jones.
Sam Walton’s spinning in his grave.
I haven’t been to a Walmart in years. They started bending over and grabbing the ankles way too much for my taste.
The list, Ping
Let me know if you would like to be on or off the ping list

Surprised?
I am going to tell Wal-Mart (via e-mail) that I'll be shopping at Costco. Sam Walton is rolling over in his grave at today's Wal-Mart!!
No basic kosher stuff during out holidays but Mexican and Arabic foods, no problem. Last year couldn’t even find a Chanukah card, any.
Forget mere email or calls. I suggest the following:
1. Go to WallyWorld with a friend.
2. Load op both your cart with as much expensive stuff as will fit into the cart.
3. After the checkout clerk has rung up nearly all the expensive items, have your friend remind you that WallyWorld caved to Libtards on ALEC.
4. Loudly tell the clerk that you can’t do any business with WallyWorld when they cave to Obamoid commies.
5. Walk out.
Repeat in other WallyWorld stores.
If this occurs across America, WallyWorld will get the message.
Did you know Walmart is carrying a great like of burquas? Many neat shades of black. Grey, too.
Rumor has it that the eyeglasses vendors will be replaced with “female excision vendors just as soon as the Walmart engineers figure out how to install soundproofing sufficient to muffle the screams.
Walmart - for all your MadMo needs.
